Abstract

Hotspot is a wireless internet access distribution media that has an authentication system for its users. Because with the hotspot system, internet access users are required to go through a network authentication stage by entering a username and password before being able to connect to the internet. Without systematic management, problems in hotspot services will occur very often. SMK N 4 Bengkulu Selatan has used an internet connection. However, the internet connection used has not been optimized, especially in terms of hotspot user management. This can cause several obstacles when accessing the internet, including the lack of security so that all users can access the internet only by entering the provided wifi password, the absence of user monitoring so that they do not know which hotspot users are active or inactive and the absence of bandwidth limitations for each user which results in unfair bandwidth usage often occurs. This study aims to design a hotspot network using Mikrotik devices with the implementation of the User Manager authentication method at SMK N 4 Bengkulu Selatan. The goal is to improve the security and management of internet access for users in the school environment. This study involves needs analysis, network topology design, and authentication protocol implementation. This method is expected to provide an effective solution in internet access management in educational environments.

Abstract

Currently, the use of computer networks is very necessary, such as for teaching and learning activities and work. SMAl N 7 Bengkulul Selatan already has a network that is used for teaching and learning activities. Currently, the computer network in the computer laboratory of SMAl N 7 Bengkulul Selatan has 24 Computer Units. The computer network in the computer laboratory of SMAl N 7 Bengkulul Selatan does not yet have a system that can perform monitoring, so it is slow to find out the problems that occur on the network. One of the applications that performs network monitoring is lzabbix. Zabbix in performing network monitoring can send notifications to telegram. Zabbix can run on the Linux Ubuntu Server 20.04 operating system. The Linux Ubuntu Server 20.04 operating system is used because it is open source and does not require high hardware specifications. Because the Linux Ubuntu operating system runs network monitoring using Zabbix using small server resources. Zabbix can monitor problems that occur on each client and the time the problem occurs. Zabbix can also send real-time problem information to the network admin's telegram, so that the admin can easily find out the problems that occur on the computers connected to the network. In addition to the problem information sent to Telegram, it is also stored in the server log, so that the admin can see it later on the problems that occur.

Abstract

In the automotive world, organized and efficient service registration services are very important to support workshop operations and improve customer satisfaction. This process includes recording customer data, service schedules, and the types of services required, so a system design is needed that can serve the motor vehicle service registration process and make it easier for customers to service their vehicles. This study aims to design and develop a digital-based service registration system prototype at AHHAS Honda Ilham Motor Kepahiang. The system is designed to replace the manual registration method previously used, which often caused long queues and inefficiency in managing service schedules. With this prototype, customers can register for service online, choose available schedules, and receive automatic confirmation notifications. The system also includes features for managing customer data and vehicle service history, which help the workshop improve operational efficiency. The implementation of this prototype is expected to provide a more comfortable experience for customers and support the workshop in addressing challenges in the digital era

Abstract

Travel PDP Kota Bengkulu adalah salah satu travel yang melayani penumpang dengan tujuan bengkulu-palembang, Bengkulu-jambi yang beralamat di kebun bler kota Bengkulu. salah satu kekurangan dari Travel PDP saat ini pelayanan pembelian tiket yang dilakukan masih secara manual yaitu calon penumpang datang langsung ke loket, dan informasi tentang travel PDP juga masih sangat terbatas dikarenakan travel PDP belum memanfaatkan teknologi sehingga akses masyarakat untuk mengetahui tentang travel PDP yang ada di kota bengkulu sangat terbatas karena promosi dan informasi yang dilakukan saat ini adalah dengan cara memberikan nomor kontak travel kepada penumpang saja. Metode pengembangan sistem yang akan di gunakan nantinya adalah metode sistem RAD (Rapid Application Development), Penelitian ini nantinya diharapkan dapat menjawab segala permasalahan yang mungkin timbul saat memberikan informasi tentang travel PDP kota bengkulu. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan oleh pihak travel PDP dalam memberikan informasi dan pelayanan pembelian tiket secara online dengan menggunakan media website tidak lagi secara manual sehingga calon penumpang tidak perlu repot-repot lagi untuk datang ke loket sehingga dapat menghemat waktu dan tenaga.
