Abstract

Hotspot is a wireless internet access distribution media that has an authentication system for its users. Because with the hotspot system, internet access users are required to go through a network authentication stage by entering a username and password before being able to connect to the internet. Without systematic management, problems in hotspot services will occur very often. SMK N 4 Bengkulu Selatan has used an internet connection. However, the internet connection used has not been optimized, especially in terms of hotspot user management. This can cause several obstacles when accessing the internet, including the lack of security so that all users can access the internet only by entering the provided wifi password, the absence of user monitoring so that they do not know which hotspot users are active or inactive and the absence of bandwidth limitations for each user which results in unfair bandwidth usage often occurs. This study aims to design a hotspot network using Mikrotik devices with the implementation of the User Manager authentication method at SMK N 4 Bengkulu Selatan. The goal is to improve the security and management of internet access for users in the school environment. This study involves needs analysis, network topology design, and authentication protocol implementation. This method is expected to provide an effective solution in internet access management in educational environments.

Abstract

Currently, the use of computer networks is very necessary, such as for teaching and learning activities and work. SMAl N 7 Bengkulul Selatan already has a network that is used for teaching and learning activities. Currently, the computer network in the computer laboratory of SMAl N 7 Bengkulul Selatan has 24 Computer Units. The computer network in the computer laboratory of SMAl N 7 Bengkulul Selatan does not yet have a system that can perform monitoring, so it is slow to find out the problems that occur on the network. One of the applications that performs network monitoring is lzabbix. Zabbix in performing network monitoring can send notifications to telegram. Zabbix can run on the Linux Ubuntu Server 20.04 operating system. The Linux Ubuntu Server 20.04 operating system is used because it is open source and does not require high hardware specifications. Because the Linux Ubuntu operating system runs network monitoring using Zabbix using small server resources. Zabbix can monitor problems that occur on each client and the time the problem occurs. Zabbix can also send real-time problem information to the network admin's telegram, so that the admin can easily find out the problems that occur on the computers connected to the network. In addition to the problem information sent to Telegram, it is also stored in the server log, so that the admin can see it later on the problems that occur.

Abstract

In the automotive world, organized and efficient service registration services are very important to support workshop operations and improve customer satisfaction. This process includes recording customer data, service schedules, and the types of services required, so a system design is needed that can serve the motor vehicle service registration process and make it easier for customers to service their vehicles. This study aims to design and develop a digital-based service registration system prototype at AHHAS Honda Ilham Motor Kepahiang. The system is designed to replace the manual registration method previously used, which often caused long queues and inefficiency in managing service schedules. With this prototype, customers can register for service online, choose available schedules, and receive automatic confirmation notifications. The system also includes features for managing customer data and vehicle service history, which help the workshop improve operational efficiency. The implementation of this prototype is expected to provide a more comfortable experience for customers and support the workshop in addressing challenges in the digital era

Abstract

Travel PDP Kota Bengkulu adalah salah satu travel yang melayani penumpang dengan tujuan bengkulu-palembang, Bengkulu-jambi yang beralamat di kebun bler kota Bengkulu. salah satu kekurangan dari Travel PDP saat ini pelayanan pembelian tiket yang dilakukan masih secara manual yaitu calon penumpang datang langsung ke loket, dan informasi tentang travel PDP juga masih sangat terbatas dikarenakan travel PDP belum memanfaatkan teknologi sehingga akses masyarakat untuk mengetahui tentang travel PDP yang ada di kota bengkulu sangat terbatas karena promosi dan informasi yang dilakukan saat ini adalah dengan cara memberikan nomor kontak travel kepada penumpang saja. Metode pengembangan sistem yang akan di gunakan nantinya adalah metode sistem RAD (Rapid Application Development), Penelitian ini nantinya diharapkan dapat menjawab segala permasalahan yang mungkin timbul saat memberikan informasi tentang travel PDP kota bengkulu. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan oleh pihak travel PDP dalam memberikan informasi dan pelayanan pembelian tiket secara online dengan menggunakan media website tidak lagi secara manual sehingga calon penumpang tidak perlu repot-repot lagi untuk datang ke loket sehingga dapat menghemat waktu dan tenaga.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem informasi rental mobil berbasis web pada PT Mamek Rental guna meningkatkan efisiensi pelayanan, pengelolaan data, dan proses administrasi penyewaan kendaraan. Permasalahan yang dihadapi PT Mamek Rental adalah proses pemesanan yang masih dilakukan secara manual melalui telepon atau pelanggan datang langsung ke lokasi rental. Selain itu, pengisian formulir berulang menggunakan kertas serta pencatatan data armada dan transaksi secara manual menyebabkan proses pelayanan menjadi kurang efektif, rentan terjadi kesalahan pencatatan, kehilangan data, dan keterlambatan penyampaian informasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode iterasi (iterative model), yang terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, analisis, dan perancangan sistem secara bertahap dan berulang sesuai kebutuhan pengguna. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian berupa rancangan sistem informasi rental mobil berbasis web yang mencakup halaman registrasi pengguna, login admin dan pelanggan, halaman beranda, detail mobil, pemesanan, konfirmasi pembayaran, hingga dashboard admin. Sistem yang dirancang mampu memberikan kemudahan dalam proses pemesanan kendaraan, pengelolaan data pelanggan, pengolahan transaksi, serta penyajian informasi kendaraan secara cepat dan akurat. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa perancangan sistem informasi rental mobil berbasis web dapat menjadi solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan pengelolaan data dan pelayanan di PT Mamek Rental serta dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut pada tahap implementasi dan pengujian sistem.

Abstract

Nutrition plays a crucial role in maintaining health and well-being throughout the life cycle, especially in toddlers. Malnutrition can affect the physical growth, intelligence, and productivity of children. Factors such as economic conditions, parental attention, and unsupportive environments can contribute to cases of malnutrition in toddlers. Suboptimal monitoring of toddler development can increase the prevalence of malnutrition cases. This research aims to develop a Fuzzy Logic-based Decision Support System (DSS) application to detect malnutrition in toddlers, with a focus on the Semidang Alas Community Health Center in Seluma Regency. This study discusses variables for assessing malnutrition in toddlers, applies the Fuzzy Logic method to detect these conditions, and designs an application to diagnose malnutrition in toddlers. The research also includes community education on weight changes in malnourished toddlers and general nutritional status, providing input to improve services for malnourished toddlers. Assessment criteria involve the child's weight, height, and age, using Fuzzy Logic and DSS Application for data processing. Information handling related to malnutrition is limited to visible symptoms. Software development focuses on recognizing malnutrition diagnoses in children aged 0-5 years. A case study was conducted at the Semidang Alas Community Health Center using direct observation, nurse/midwife interviews, questionnaires, and literature reviews. System needs analysis used the Fuzzy Sugeno method. The malnutrition detection application was successfully built using Fuzzy Logic, providing detection results based on age, weight, and height. The defuzzification process produced detection values as a reference for further treatment. Application development involved both display and data aspects, with testing conducted with relevant parties to ensure the accuracy of detection results. User criticisms and suggestions provided valuable input for the improvement and development of this application.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has encouraged government institutions, including urban villages, to innovate in improving the quality of public services through the implementation of digital information systems. Masmambang Urban Village, located in Seluma Regency, still faces several challenges, particularly in terms of information dissemination and administrative management, which are still carried out manually. This results in inefficient and less transparent service processes. To address these issues, this study aims to design a web-based information system capable of integrating administrative functions and information dissemination in an optimal manner. The study employs the Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) method, applying an object-oriented approach to build a system structure that is organized, flexible, and easy to develop. The design process includes system requirements analysis, modeling using UML diagrams (Use Case, Class, and Sequence Diagrams), and database design using MySQL. The system features include letter service management, news publication, activity photo galleries, village profiles, contact forms, and service request status tracking. Based on the design results, the system can improve operational efficiency and information accessibility, while also enhancing transparency in administrative services in a digital and real-time manner. Therefore, this system is expected to be a suitable solution to support the digitalization process within the village government environment.

Abstract

With the rapid development of internet technology, the need for efficient and stable protocols is increasingly important. This study aims to compare the performance of static routing on IPv4 and IPv6 protocols at SMPN 9 Kaur, with a focus on quality of service (QoS) based on the TIPHON standard. The research method used is the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC), including the stages of analysis, design, testing, implementation, monitoring, and management. The results show that IPv6 has better performance than IPv4. On an IPv6 network using WiFi, a packet loss of 0%, a delay of 0.43 ms, a jitter of 0.201 ms, and a throughput of 4840 kbps was obtained. Meanwhile, IPv4 based on WiFi had a packet loss of 0%, a delay of 22.1175 ms, a jitter of 7.8903 ms, and a throughput of 409 kbps. The conclusion of this study is that IPv6 is superior in terms of network stability and efficiency compared to IPv4

Abstract

The development of information technology drives digital transformation in various fields, including elementary school library management. SD Negeri 85 Bengkulu City still uses a manual system for recording book borrowing and returning, resulting in frequent problems such as recording errors, data loss, and service delays. This study aims to design a web-based library system that can simplify the process of book data management, collection searches, and recording borrowing and returning more effectively, efficiently, and structured. The development method used is the Waterfall model, with a focus on the needs analysis and system design stages. The analysis process is carried out through observation, interviews, and literature studies to identify user needs. The results of the study are a system design consisting of a UML (Use Case and Activity Diagram) diagram, an Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) for database design, and a simple and user-friendly user interface mockup. This system design is expected to be a reference in the development of a web-based library system at SD Negeri 85 Bengkulu City so that it can improve management efficiency, minimize recording errors, and provide easy access to book information for students and teachers.

Abstract

Jaringan komputer merupakan infrastruktur penting dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran di pendidikan kejuruan, khususnya pada lingkungan dengan tingkat penggunaan jaringan yang tinggi. Laboratorium Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ) SMKN 5 Seluma sering mengalami ketidakmerataan bandwidth akibat akses simultan oleh banyak perangkat, yang berdampak pada penurunan kualitas layanan jaringan (Quality of Service/QoS). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penerapan metode Per Connection Queue (PCQ) dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan jaringan Local Area Network (LAN). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan pretest dan posttest. Pengukuran kinerja jaringan dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi Wireshark dengan parameter QoS meliputi throughput, delay, jitter, dan packet loss yang dianalisis berdasarkan standar TIPHON. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PCQ mampu meningkatkan kinerja jaringan secara signifikan, ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan throughput dari 10 Kbit/s menjadi 895 Kbit/s, penurunan delay dari 189,735 ms menjadi 8,467 ms, penurunan jitter dari 8,476 ms menjadi 1,129 ms, serta penurunan packet loss dari 64,1% menjadi 0%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode PCQ efektif dalam mengoptimalkan distribusi bandwidth dan meningkatkan kualitas layanan jaringan pada lingkungan laboratorium pendidikan kejuruan
