Abstract

School cooperatives play a strategic role as a medium for economic learning that supports the development of entrepreneurial character, independence, and responsibility among students. However, in practice, the management of school cooperatives still faces various challenges, including low member participation, limited business innovation, and suboptimal organizational performance. This study aims to analyze the role of transformational leadership in improving the performance of school cooperatives through a literature review approach from the perspective of educational management. The method used is a literature study by reviewing relevant scientific sources such as journals, books, and previous research findings. The results indicate that transformational leadership contributes to improving cooperative performance by strengthening motivation, commitment, and member participation, as well as encouraging innovation and adaptive organizational culture. In addition, transformational leadership plays a role in building a shared vision and enhancing organizational effectiveness. Therefore, transformational leadership can be considered a relevant strategy to optimize the performance of school cooperatives.

Abstract

This research arose from the low level of parental involvement in early childhood education (PAUD), despite their crucial role in supporting optimal child development. One effort to increase this involvement is to implement collaborative leadership in PAUD institutions. This study aims to analyze the concepts, forms, and strategies of collaborative leadership to increase parental involvement. The method used was a qualitative approach in the form of library research, collecting, reviewing, and synthesizing various relevant sources such as scientific journals, books, and previous research findings. The results of the study indicate that collaborative leadership plays a crucial role in building open communication, harmonious relationships, and trust between schools and parents. Forms of parental involvement include participation in school activities, active communication with teachers, and home learning support. Effective strategies to increase parental involvement include parenting programs, intensive communication, and direct involvement in school activities. However, their implementation faces challenges such as low parental awareness, limited time, and differences in socio-economic backgrounds. Therefore, a flexible, communicative, and sustainable approach is needed for optimal collaborative leadership. In conclusion, collaborative leadership has been shown to increase parental involvement and positively impact the overall development of early childhood.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of educational leadership in the management of school cooperatives and to identify the challenges faced in their implementation. School cooperatives have a strategic function as a medium for entrepreneurship learning and the development of students’ character. However, their success is highly influenced by the quality of educational leadership, particularly that of school principals and supervising teachers. This study employs a library research method, which involves reviewing and analyzing various sources of literature such as books, academic journals, and relevant research findings. The results indicate that educational leadership plays roles as planner, organizer, motivator, supervisor, decision maker, human resource developer, and liaison with stakeholders. Effective leadership is able to enhance student participation, build a positive organizational culture, and optimize the function of cooperatives as a learning medium. Nevertheless, several challenges remain, including limited managerial competence, low student participation, limited resources, lack of technology utilization, and weak coordination. Therefore, innovative, collaborative, and transformational leadership is needed to ensure that school cooperatives can develop optimally and sustainably.

Abstract

School cooperatives play a strategic role as both economic institutions and learning media for students. However, many school cooperatives face challenges, particularly in terms of limited capital, which affects their sustainability and business development. This study aims to analyze strategies for maximizing school cooperative capital through a qualitative approach using library research. The data were collected from books, scientific journals, and relevant regulations related to cooperative management. The results show that optimizing capital is not only about increasing funds but also about implementing effective and integrated financial management strategies. Key strategies include strengthening internal capital through member participation, utilizing external funding selectively, applying transparent and accountable financial management, reinvesting profits, diversifying business activities, and adopting digital technology. These strategies can enhance operational efficiency, increase member trust, and improve the cooperative's competitiveness. Therefore, a comprehensive and sustainable approach is essential to ensure that school cooperatives become independent, professional, and competitive economic institutions in supporting educational activities.

Abstract

Abstract

This research explores the concept and implementation of prophetic leadership within the context of educational management as a paradigm that integrates spiritual and moral values. Prophetic leadership is defined as a model that prioritizes a clear vision, the ability to inspire, and a commitment to individual character development. This article aims to analyze implementation strategies, the challenges encountered, and the significant impact of this leadership model on educational institutions. Through a literature review, it was found that key strategies involve developing value-based visions and missions, participatory decision-making, and strengthening character education through the values of discipline, patience, and perseverance. The findings indicate that prophetic leadership, which also adopts transformational elements, is capable of creating a positive school climate, increasing teacher and student motivation, and fostering a sustainable culture of innovation. Nevertheless, its implementation faces tangible challenges such as rigid organizational cultures, resistance to change, and limited resources. This study concludes that prophetic leadership is a crucial holistic approach to improving educational quality and shaping future generations with moral integrity and high academic competence. Educational managers are encouraged to adopt these values through continuous training and systemic evaluation to achieve more comprehensive educational goals.

Abstract

This research aims to explore various leadership models within the context of Islamic education, including transformational, transactional, situational, collaborative, and servant leadership models. The method employed is a literature review of various theories and contemporary research findings. The discussion results indicate that transformational leadership encourages cultural innovation, while transactional leadership focuses on operational efficiency through reward systems. Situational and collaborative models emphasize flexibility and collective decision-making. Specifically from an Islamic perspective, leadership is actualized through moral values such as discipline, patience, and perseverance, rooted in spiritual intelligence. Furthermore, servant leadership prioritizes staff empowerment and student well-being. The implementation of these models is proven to have a significant impact on increasing student motivation, teacher job satisfaction, and creating a conducive school environment. This article also highlights the strategic role of inclusive leadership, including women's leadership, in building a quality culture using a participatory approach. In conclusion, the success of Islamic educational leadership requires planned training strategies, regular evaluation, and the integration of spiritual values in every managerial practice to face modern educational challenges.
