Abstract

Perkembangan generative artificial intelligence (AI generatif) telah mendorong transformasi signifikan dalam pembelajaran pendidikan tinggi, khususnya melalui perannya sebagai tutor virtual yang adaptif dan interaktif. Meskipun demikian, hubungan antara penggunaan AI generatif dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan penilaian mandiri (self-assessment) mahasiswa masih belum terpetakan secara komprehensif dalam literatur ilmiah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran integrasi tutor AI generatif dalam pembelajaran tinggi serta dampaknya terhadap pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan self-regulated learning mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode library research, melalui analisis dan sintesis literatur ilmiah terindeks Scopus dalam lima tahun terakhir. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah content analysis untuk mengidentifikasi tema, pola hubungan, serta kesenjangan penelitian terkait AI generatif dalam pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa AI generatif memiliki peran ambivalen terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Di satu sisi, AI dapat berfungsi sebagai cognitive enhancer yang mendorong eksplorasi, refleksi, dan evaluasi melalui umpan balik instan dan simulasi pembelajaran. Di sisi lain, penggunaan yang tidak terarah berpotensi menurunkan kualitas berpikir kritis karena ketergantungan pada jawaban instan (cognitive crutch). Selain itu, AI juga berkontribusi dalam mendukung penilaian mandiri, namun memerlukan kemampuan literasi kritis untuk menghindari bias dan kesalahan informasi. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa efektivitas integrasi AI generatif sangat bergantung pada desain pedagogis, literasi digital mahasiswa, serta pengelolaan penggunaan teknologi secara etis. Kontribusi penelitian ini terletak pada penyajian sintesis terintegrasi mengenai hubungan AI generatif, berpikir kritis, dan penilaian mandiri sebagai dasar pengembangan model pembelajaran berbasis AI yang lebih reflektif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

In the digital era, the spread of hoaxes or fake news has become an increasingly complex and worrying phenomenon. Hoaxes are not just misinformation, but have a systematic structure and pattern of dissemination, fuelled by political and economic gain, or simply provocation. Social media and digital platforms play a major role as catalysts for the spread of hoaxes due to their characteristics of wide reach, speed of dissemination, and low filtering of truthful information. Mechanisms such as echo chambers and digital platform algorithms amplify the effects of hoaxes, increasing the risk for individuals with low digital literacy. To counter the negative impact of hoaxes, strategic measures are needed such as improving digital literacy, strengthening education on information verification, and developing effective regulations in the digital world. Collaboration between the government, digital platforms and the public is essential to address the threat posed by hoaxes, as well as to shape a more critical and informed society.

Abstract

Pesantren as Indonesia’s original educational institution has proven to produce experts in their fields for hundreds of years. The current modern higher education system often does not prioritise the formation of ideal human beings, but is more focused on the formation of material-oriented individuals who lack spiritual values. This problem demands serious efforts in strengthening the peace and tranquillity of life, both through escorting and developing human resources, as well as through a revolution in the performance of educators and the higher education system as a whole. This research aims to see how Pesantren Education as Indonesia’s Indigenous Heritage: Nurturing Moral Education in the Digital Era and its Human Resources have the capability to manage and survive in the current digital era. This research method is qualitative and quantitative, where the author uses literature studies and case studies that take place at Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor, which is a representation of pesantren that have superior universities in Indonesia. The results of this study are In this model, character education, career development and performance improvement of Islamic human resources, Islamic human resource development, and Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor become an important part of the programmes offered. In addition, the programme also includes values such as Qurrota A’yun, Islamic human resource development, sincerity, independence, modernity, leadership and success in the Islamic context, boarding school, simplicity, and culture and structure. Gontor endeavours to create a learning environment that conforms to the principles of the Islamic learning model for human resource development and Islamic values become the main guideline in human resource management, while career development based on Islamic law is also prioritised to form quality Islamic human resources. Aspects of Islamic professionalism are also emphasised to ensure the integration of Islamic values in professional actions and behaviour.
