<![CDATA[Abstract Quarter life crisis is a phenomenon that occurs in early adulthood, characterized by feelings of worry, doubt, anxiety, frustration, and stress regarding various choices and decisions in the future. This study aims to determine the relationship between parental expectations and career maturity with quarter-life crisis in out-of-town students, especially those from outside Java. This study used a quantitative approach with 158 student aged 20-28 years and a purposive sampling technique. The analysis found that parental expectations have a positive relationship with quarter life crisis, meaning that the higher the parental expectations, the higher the quarter life crisis. Career maturity has a negative relationship with quarter-life crisis, meaning that individuals with a high level of career maturity will reduce the occurrence of quarter-life crisis. The findings of this study are expected to enable out-of-town students to manage negative emotions that can impact quarter life crisis. Keywords: Parental Expectations, Career Maturity, Quarter Life Crisis, overseas student, Out-Of-Town Student Abstrak Quarter life crisis adalah fenomena yang berlangsung di dewasa awal dijumpai dengan perasaan khawatir, bingung, cemas, frustasi dan stress mengenai berbagai pilihan dan keputusan di masa depan. Penelitian ini bermaksud mencari tahu hubungan antara harapan orang tua dan kematangan karier dengan quarter life crisis pada mahasiswa rantau khususnya berasal dari luar pulau jawa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jumlah responden 158 subjek berusia 20-28 tahun dan pengambilan sampel dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil analisis menemukan harapan orang tua memiliki hubungn positif dengan quarter life crisis, artinya semakin tinggi harapan orang tua, semakin meningkat pula quarter life crisis. Kematangan karier mempunyai hubungan negatif terhadap quarter life crisis, artinya individu dengan tingkat kematangan karier yang baik akan menurunkan terjadinya quarter life crisis.
