Abstract

The study was conducted at two locations, namely the headwaters and mid stream part Ciliwung. A teach location made six transects with 45m length of each transect. Each transect made 5 sample plots measuring 1x1m with the distance between sample plots is 10m.  Then be identified, then calculated FR, KR, INP and Diversity Index Type. Based on the research results, There are 23 species of plants preventing erosion which is included in the 14 family. Ciliwung headwaters part  there are 19 species of plants preventing erosion of the 12 family, with a percentage of 57,5% and the highest Importance Value Index was Panicum maximum of 41.83%. Ciliwung midstream part there are 15 species of plants preventing erosion of the 9 tribes, with a percentage  45,4%  and  the highest Importance Value Index was  Pennisetum purpureum of 44.16%. Plant species diversity index prevention of erosion in watersheds (DAS) Ciliwung low with values ranging between 0,90-0,95. Key words: erosion control plants, watershed (DAS), Ciliwung

Abstract

Heavy metals in waters are a threat to living things both biota that are in these waters, as well as on plants and humans that depend on these water sources. Water quality improvement can be done by utilizing local gravestone (Pilsbryoconcha exilis) as a natural filter. In this study consisted of four treatments and three replications. The amount of gravestone weights of 200 grams, 300 grams and 400 grams acts as a treatment that will later be seen its effect on water containing arsenic metal. The results of this study indicate that local gravestone can reduce arsenic levels in waters with a treatment weight of 400 grams showed the best results with the final result arsenic level of 0.0101 ppm and the highest daily growth rate is 200 grams of weight treatment with a market value of 4.40%.

Abstract

Plants, like other living things, need a combination of nutrients to live, grow and reproduce. Nutrients in plants can also be divided into two, namely mobile nutrients and immobile nutrients (non-moving nutrients). The condition of plants that are deficient or lacking in nutrients will experience growth disturbances and affect the yield of leaves or fruit. Leaf color can be a characteristic of plants under normal conditions or experiencing nutrient deficiencies. Deficiency of nutrients in plants will affect leaf shape, fruit production and plant age which results in stunted growth and rapid death of plants, in fruit production there will be loss of flowers or ovaries so that production will decrease. So far, plant maintenance has been done manually. Each plant is seen for later analysis of the results and it takes time to identify nutrient deficiencies. The aim of the study was to identify nutrient deficiencies in image-based chili plants based on the characteristics of the Red, Green, Blue (RGB) color and texture analysis using the Support Vector Model (SVM). The benefit of the research is to make machine learning-based applications to identify nutrient deficiencies which are divided into four classes, namely nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) deficiencies, P and potassium (K) deficiencies, N and K deficiencies, and chili leaves with normal class. .There are 120 plant data with an accuracy of 84.4%.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Indonesia is rich in various kinds of traditional fermented foods that can be developed into functional foods, one of which is tape hanjeli. Tape hanjeli is a traditional food typical of the Sukabumi region, West Java, made from hanjeli seeds (Coix lacyma jobi-L) which are fermented using tape yeast. The research aims to test the proximate content and effectiveness of hanjeli tape as an antibacterial for Staphylococcus aureus which causes skin infections. Research methods include making hanjeli tape, testing the proximate content and testing the effectiveness of hanjeli tape as an antibacterial for Staphylococcus aureus (Kirby-bauer). Data analysis was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. From the results of the proximate content test, the ash content was 0.18%, protein 8.37%, fat 7.85%, carbohydrates 22.45%. The effectiveness test results obtained inhibition zones at concentrations of 60% (1.02 mm), 70% (3.56 mm), 80% (3.06 mm) 90% (5.68 mm). The conclusion of the research stated that hanjeli tape can act as a functional food and is effective as an antibacterial for Staphylococcus aureus which causes skin disease at a concentration of 90% of 5.68 mm and is included in the moderate inhibition zone category.
