Abstract

Learning in elementary schools has an important role in forming the foundation of students' critical, creative and collaborative thinking abilities. One of the materials in learning Indonesian that is relevant for practicing these skills is procedural texts. The problem-based learning (PBL) model has been proven to be an effective approach in increasing student engagement. This research aims to analyze the usability of PBL-based teaching modules on procedural text material in elementary schools. The results of this research are the highest Feedback (UB) value, with a value of around 0.646%. This indicates that the Feedback variable (UB) is able to explain around 64% of the variables of the indicators. In contrast to the other side, the lowest value of the User Self Control (KDP) variable is seen in the variable which is only around 0.114. This shows that the motivation variable can only explain almost 11% of the variance of the indicators. Overall, this diagram provides an overview of how well each variable or construct is able to explain the variables of its indicators.

Abstract

In the current digital era, the integration of information and communication technology in education has become an urgent necessity. One rapidly developing innovation is the use of website-based learning media. This study examines the acceptability of website-based learning media designed in alignment with the Merdeka learning framework in elementary schools in the Sumedang region. The research employs a quantitative approach, using a correlational survey method with path analysis. The findings indicate that, among the ten evaluated indicators, two indicators Social Influence on Behavioral Intention and Effort Expectancy on Behavioral Intention play a decisive role in determining the acceptability of instructional materials and media. These indicators demonstrate a strong positive influence on the developed media, indicating high levels of acceptance. The results show that social influence and perceived ease of use are the primary determinants of acceptance and effectiveness of the learning media.

Abstract

The current digitalization sweeping the world of education presents a paradox in which easy access to information often contradicts the development of students' character. This article aims to critically examine the dynamics of teachers' roles in developing students' character amidst the onslaught of an instant and permissive digital culture. This research employs a library research method with an interpretive qualitative approach, analyzing various scientific literature and the latest research findings from the past decade. The study's findings indicate that excessive screen time has triggered a degradation of social empathy and increased students' vulnerability to immoral behavior in cyberspace, such as cyberbullying. Further analysis reveals that artificial intelligence technology can indeed replace teachers as conveyors of factual information, but it will never be able to replace their role as moral facilitators and ethical role models. Therefore, it is necessary to transform the role of teachers into value curators capable of integrating digital literacy with local wisdom through a humanistic pedagogical approach. The article's conclusion emphasizes that the synergy between technological adaptability and teachers' personal integrity is key to saving the next generation from an identity crisis in the era of information disruption.
