Abstract

Entering the 21st century, technological developments are currently developing steadily. Entering the modern era which is marked by technological developments that continue to change every day, all aspects of life are now affected by advances in digital technology. Web-based learning media is a form of utilizing the latest technology in the educational context, which is implemented in the teaching and learning process using technology. Therefore, researchers will study and research the acceptability of Website-Based Learning Media with the Independent Teacher Learning Model throughout West Java to see the extent to which teachers have mastered the creation of digital-based learning media. This research uses a quantitative approach with correlational survey methods and path analysis. The research results show that Self E Self-Efficacy (Self Application) has a relationship with Behavioral Intention (Acceptance of technology). This can be seen from the p value which gets a value of 3.82 and the T Value with a value of 0.00 which exceeds the minimum and maximum limits set. determined, and it can be concluded that this variable is said to have a significant effect.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the usability level of the EduPetualang learning platform using the System Usability Scale (SUS). Usability is assessed through four main aspects: effectiveness, efficiency, satisfaction, and user control. The research involved 112 teacher respondents who used the platform in an educational context. Data were collected using a ten-item SUS questionnaire and analyzed quantitatively. The findings indicate that users perceived the platform as easy to use, well-integrated, and satisfactory for achieving learning goals. Overall, EduPetualang was evaluated to have excellent usability according to standardized SUS benchmarks. The results suggest that the platform supports learning activities effectively and is well-received by users, particularly educators. The study concludes that EduPetualang is suitable for implementation in classroom settings and provides recommendations for improving system features to further enhance user experience

Abstract

In the current digital era, the integration of information and communication technology in education has become an urgent necessity. One rapidly developing innovation is the use of website-based learning media. This study examines the acceptability of website-based learning media designed in alignment with the Merdeka learning framework in elementary schools in the Sumedang region. The research employs a quantitative approach, using a correlational survey method with path analysis. The findings indicate that, among the ten evaluated indicators, two indicators Social Influence on Behavioral Intention and Effort Expectancy on Behavioral Intention play a decisive role in determining the acceptability of instructional materials and media. These indicators demonstrate a strong positive influence on the developed media, indicating high levels of acceptance. The results show that social influence and perceived ease of use are the primary determinants of acceptance and effectiveness of the learning media.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the acceptability of a teaching module on photosynthesis material based on Project-Based Learning (PBL) for Natural Science (NS) learning in Grade IV elementary schools. The module was developed to enhance student engagement, self-regulation, and goal orientation in learning. The research employed a quantitative approach using the Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method to examine the relationships among user activity, user self-control, and goal orientation. Data were collected through questionnaires administered to teachers and students, focusing on their perceptions and experiences with the teaching module. The results indicate a significant positive relationship between user activity and user self-control, which collectively influence goal orientation. These findings suggest that the PBL- based module effectively supports active learning and self-regulated behaviors, ultimately fostering goal-oriented learning outcomes. This research provides valuable insights for educators and curriculum developers to design innovative instructional materials that promote active and independent learning in elementary education.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze elementary students’ mathematical problem-solving skills through a contextual geometry assessment focused on rectangular shapes. The research involved 36 sixth-grade students who completed five open-ended problem-solving tasks designed to measure four aspects of problem-solving: modeling the problem, identifying relevant information or constraints, reasoning with data, and drawing conclusions. Student responses were evaluated using an analytic rubric with a maximum total score of 15. The results showed that the average student achievement was 76.67%, indicating a moderate to good level of problem-solving ability. Students demonstrated strong performance in understanding and modeling the problem context, with the highest mean score obtained in this aspect. However, reasoning with data emerged as the weakest area, as many students experienced difficulties in explaining solution procedures clearly and systematically, despite obtaining correct final answers. Students’ ability to draw conclusions based on mathematical evidence was adequate but not yet consistent. In conclusion, the findings suggest that while contextual problems support students’ initial understanding, greater instructional emphasis is needed on reasoning processes, procedural explanation, and evidence-based conclusions to strengthen overall mathematical problem-solving skills at the elementary level.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the acceptance and use of web-based multimodality learning media with the UTAUT2 model. Web-based multimodality learning media is a media that is needed for educators as a 21st century learning innovation. UTAUT2 is a development of the UTAUT model implemented by Venkates. The variables contained in UTAUT2 are performance expectations, business expectations, social influence, facility conditions, hedonic motivation, price values, and habits. Data was collected from 100 respondents after filling out a questionnaire with 40 questions asked. The population of this research are teachers in the West Java region. In processing the data in this research, SmartPLS 3 was used to determine the quality, validity and reliability of the data collected. The results of this research show that of the seven hypotheses proposed, two hypotheses can be accepted, namely facilitating conditions and social influence on user interest (behavioral intention).

Abstract

The development of digital technology has encouraged the use of interactive learning media such as Wordwall and Crossword Labs in the teaching and learning process. This study aims to evaluate the level of usability of the two applications using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. The SUS method was chosen because of its ease and effectiveness in measuring user satisfaction with the system. Data were collected through the SUS questionnaire from respondents who had used both applications in the learning context. The instrument used was the SUS questionnaire consisting of 10 statement items. The study was conducted with a descriptive quantitative approach to 85 teacher respondents. The results showed that the average SUS score for Wordwall and Crossword Labs was 86, which was in the "Excellent" category. This shows that the Wordwall and Crossword Labs applications have a satisfactory level of usability in the very good category. These findings provide an overview that both applications are worthy of being used as interactive learning media that can increase student motivation and engagement.
