Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of visual media in teaching Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) on the topic of the human circulatory system in grade V at MI Al-Barokah Ajung Jember. The background of this study stems from the low interest and understanding of students regarding the concept of the human circulatory system, which is caused by teaching methods that are still traditional and teacher-centered. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The research subjects include teachers and fifth-grade students at MI Al-Barokah Ajung Jember. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the use of visual media, such as anatomical drawings and posters illustrating the circulatory system, can increase students' motivation to learn and their understanding of the material being taught. In addition, learning becomes more interesting, interactive, and enjoyable. Thus, the use of visual media has been proven to have a positive effect on improving the quality of science education, particularly in the subject of the human circulatory system in fifth grade at MI Al-Barokah Ajung Jember.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of Augmented Reality (AR) learning media in thematic learning to improve student learning outcomes based on a literature review of various previous studies. The research method used is a literature review, which involves analyzing a number of scientific articles and relevant research results regarding the use of AR media in learning in elementary schools. Based on the results of the literature review, it is known that AR-based learning media can help students understand the material more concretely and interestingly because it can display three-dimensional objects that appear as if they are in the real world. AR also increases student interactivity and engagement during the learning process, thereby having a positive impact on their learning outcomes. Several studies show that the application of AR media in thematic learning is effective in strengthening concept understanding, improving memory, and fostering students' interest in learning. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Augmented Reality (AR) media in thematic learning has great potential to improve student learning outcomes in elementary schools.

Abstract

The writing of academic papers must adhere to proper citation practices and the correct formatting of the reference list. This is important to acknowledge the work of others and avoid plagiarism. However, many students still make errors in citing sources and compiling reference lists. This study aims to analyze common errors in reference list formatting and assess the degree to which the formatting complies with current citation guidelines. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Data were obtained from various sources, such as books, journals, and previous studies published within the last 10 years, and then analyzed. The results of the study indicate that common errors include improper formatting, incomplete source information, and inconsistent citation styles. This study is expected to enhance understanding of citation and reference list writing, thereby contributing to improved quality in academic works, particularly Classroom Action Research reports.
