Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of bureaucracy in supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which include sustainable development, social justice, and poverty alleviation. Through a literature review, this study examines how public administration as a bureaucratic system plays a role in formulating, implementing, and evaluating inclusive and sustainable development policies. The findings show that bureaucracy has a strategic role as a coordinator and implementer of policies that must be able to innovate, adapt, and establish multisectoral partnerships to overcome various development challenges. However, obstacles such as fragmentation of implementation, limited human resource capacity, and lack of transparency remain major obstacles. Therefore, bureaucratic reform that prioritises accountability, digital technology, and public participation is crucial to optimising the role of the bureaucracy in achieving SDG targets effectively and sustainably.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse strategies for developing palm oil commodity marketing channels through a literature review approach that highlights aspects of profit margins, farmers' share, and distribution chain optimisation. This study was motivated by the issue of uneven distribution of added value between farmers and industry players, as well as logistical inefficiencies in the palm oil marketing system in Indonesia. The results of the analysis show that the uneven profit margins and low farmer's share are mainly caused by the length of the distribution chain, weak farmer institutions, and limited access to market information. Distribution chain optimisation can be achieved through the application of digital technology, price transparency, and institutional integration between farmers, cooperatives, and the processing industry. Digitalisation, strategic partnerships, and logistics policy reforms are key strategies for creating an efficient, inclusive, and sustainable marketing system. This study recommends the development of a technology-based and sustainable collaborative marketing model as the basis for policies to improve the competitiveness and welfare of palm oil farmers at the national level.

Abstract

In the face of dynamic and competitive labour market demands, education that is oriented towards practical learning outcomes is an inevitable necessity. The Competency-Based Curriculum (KBK) has been identified as a potential approach in preparing students to enter the world of work. This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of the implementation of the Competency-Based Curriculum in improving students' work readiness and identify the challenges faced in the implementation process. The research method used in this study was a literature review. The results show that the Competency-Based Curriculum can significantly improve students' work readiness by integrating competencies relevant to industry needs into the curriculum. This method emphasises the development of practical, critical and analytical skills through project-oriented learning and collaboration with industry. However, results also indicate challenges in resources, educator training, and the need for improved infrastructure and assessment methodologies to support effective implementation of KBK.

Abstract

This study examines the role of continuous professional development (CPD) in strengthening teacher competencies in the era of educational transformation. Using a literature review approach, this study synthesises findings from recent studies, policies, and best practices to identify strategies, challenges, and opportunities in the implementation of continuous training programmes for teachers. The findings reveal that teacher competency improvement is influenced by the integration of pedagogical, professional, social, and personal skills, all of which require continuous updating in line with curriculum reforms, technology integration, and changing student needs. This study reveals the dual nature of the era of educational transformation: on the one hand, it presents challenges in the form of unequal access to training, high teacher workload, and resistance to change; on the other hand, it opens up opportunities through digital learning platforms, cross-institutional collaboration, and personalised training assisted by artificial intelligence. These findings underscore the importance of strong policy support, relevant training materials, and collaboration among stakeholders to build an inclusive, adaptive, and sustainable CPD ecosystem that can improve the overall quality of teaching and educational outcomes.
