Abstrak: Pelatihan Pengolahan dan Perawatan Bahan Pustaka Bagi Staf perpustakaan Madrasah/Sekolah di Desa Selebung Kecamatan Batukliang Lombok Tengah. Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram, 2019. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya perpustakaan dalam hal pengolahan dan perawatan bahan pustaka. Dalam upaya peningkatan tersebut, perlu diadakan pelatihan atau penyuluhan secara kontinyu dari instansi perpustakaan atau lembaga pendidikan tinggi terhadap para pustakawan dan tenaga teknis perpustakaan sehingga kedepannya proses pengolahan, pelayanan, dan perawatan bahan pustaka dapat berjalan dengan baik dan fungsi serta tujuan lembaga pendidikan dapat tercapai. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah metode ceramah dan praktik langsung dengan cara memaparkan terlebih dahulu materi-materi pengolahan dan perawatan. Kemudian peserta diberikan soal latihan untuk dipraktikkan. Sasaran pelatihan adalah pustakawan dan/atau staf perpustakaan madrasah/sekolah di desa Selebung. Hasil dari pelatihan ini adalah tersampaikannya informasi, pemahaman dan pengetahuan kepada peserta tentang pengolahan dan perawatan bahan pustaka sehingga informasi yang ada di perpustakaan tersalurkan dengan baik di lingkungan sekolah dan masyarakat. Dengan pemahaman tentang perawatan juga diharapkan dapat meminimalisasi kerusakan dan mencegah bahan pustaka tidak sampai kepada pemustaka.Abstract: Library Collection Processing and Maintenance Training for Madrasah / School library staff in Selebung Village, Batukliang District, Central Lombok. Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Muhammadiyah University, Mataram, 2019. The purpose of this activity is to improve the quality of library resources in terms of processing and maintaining library materials. In an effort to improve it, it is necessary to hold training or counseling continuously from library agencies or higher education institutions to the librarians and library technical personnel so that in the future the processing, service, and maintenance of library materials can run well and the functions and objectives of educational institutions can be achieved. The method used in this training is the lecture method and hands-on practice by first presenting processing and treatment materials. Then the participants were given practice questions to practice. The training targets are librarians and / or madrasa / school library staff in the village of Selebung. The results of this training are the delivery of information, understanding and knowledge to participants about the processing and maintenance of library materials so that the information in the library is distributed properly within the school and community. With an understanding of care is also expected to minimize damage and prevent library materials from reaching users.

Abstract : Library materials become worn out because a lot is held by the hands (especially if the hands are dirty or wet) from one user to another user and eventually can be torn. Not to mention the problem of the quality of paper as a raw material for library materials. In addition to the quality of the bindings and also the problem of storage (factors of air temperature, humidity, cleanliness of the room heat / sunlight) Adams believes that at this time the librarian should be at the same time an administrator and not a mere book collector and he considers that the technological attention of library maintenance functions is very small . Things that can invite the presence of cockroaches are the leftovers that are scattered. That is why library library is prohibited from eating or carrying food. The hand that will hold the food must also be clean free of oil stains because if the book is stained with oil it will invite the danger of Insect attack.Keyword : Library Material CareAbstrak : Bahan pustaka itu menjadi lusuh karena banyak dipegang oleh tangan (apalagi kalau tangan itu kotor atau basah) dari satu pemakai ke pemakai yang lain dan lama-lama bisa robek. Belum lagi masalah kualitas kertas sebagai bahan mentah bahan pustaka. Di samping mutu pembendelan dan juga masalah penyimpanannya (faktor suhu udara, kelembaban, kebersihan ruang panas/sinar matahari) Adams berpendapat pada saat sekarang ini pustakawan seharusnya sekaligus menjadi administrator dan bukan pengumpul buku belaka dan dia menganggap bahwa perhatian teknologi fungsi pemeliharaan bahan pustaka sangat kecil. Hal yang bisa mengundang hadirnya kecoa adalah sisa-sisa makanan yang tercecer. Itulah sebabnya mengapa di ruang baca perpustakaan dilarang makan atau membawa makanan. Tangan yang akan memegang bahan makanan juga harus bersih bebas dari noda minyak karena kalau buku itu ternoda minyak akan mengundang bahaya serangan Serangga.Kata Kunci : Perawatan Bahan Pustaka

Treatment of library materials is a very important activity, which with good care and true, it is expected that the existing collection last long. Library collections preservation e?orts done by: 1. Clean the storage shelves of books and book by using Vacuum cleaner 2. Put the book on the glass cupboard 3. Installing air conditioning in the room of the library 4. Spraying of insecticides with a glass filter or glass di?user in order to weaken the incoming sunlight Fumigation aimed at killing insects, especially eggs and larvae and can be lethal fungus 7. Laminate is a way to protect the already fragile books that kept, of course, will a?ect the positive image of the quality of library services, users visit the library and take advantage of the school library service facilities. This paper discusses the treatment of Library Materials in the Library of the State University of Padang, The purpose of this is Mecca (1) describe the factors damage library materials in the library of the State University of Padang (2) describe preventing damage library materials in the Library of the State University of Padang. Based on data collected through direct observation and interviews with staff how Libraries in Padang State University Libraries. It can be concluded: (1) the damaged library materials in the Library of the State University of Padang is a book, a collection of references, such as the periodic collection of journals and tabloids. (2) Factors damage library materials in the Library of the State University of Padang are biological factors and human factors. In order maintenance activities of library materials is expected to run well fields should State University Libraries (1) increase the resources in order to implement the activities of nurses librarian library materials properly. (2) maintenance activities of library materials not only reproductive activities, restoration and binding alone but all activities related to the care of library materials. Perpustakaan sebagai penyedia informasi harus dapat menyediakan bahan pustaka yang bermanfaat untuk penggunanya Untuk menyediakan bahan perpustakaan yang berkualitas dan mewujudkan perpustakaan sebagai sumber informasi bagi pemustaka, perlu dijaga agar bahan pustaka tersebut tidak rusak baik dari segi fisik maupun isinya. Karena itulah perpustakaan harus melakukan perawatan bahan perpustakaan. Untuk dapat melakukan perawatan bahan pustaka, maka perpustakaan harus dapat melakukan survei terhadap bahan pustaka tersebut diantaranya yaitu melihat kondisi bahan pustaka tersebut. Di Perpustakaan Universitas Airlangga perawatan dan pelestarian bahan pustaka dilakukan dengan cara sebagai berikut melakukan penjilidan dan melakukan fumigasi.

Bahan pustaka merupakan salah satu unsur terpenting yang menjadi koleksi dan terdapat didalam sebuah perpustakaan. Mengingat pentingnya suatu bahan pustaka, maka perlunya diadakannya suatu kegiatan pelestarian, pemeliharaan dan perawatan bahan pustaka. Kegiatan ini adalah sebuah usaha dan upaya agar koleksi/ bahan pustaka tetap awet dan bisa dipakai lebih lama juga agar ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang terkandung di dalamnya dapat diwariskan kepada generasi yang akan datang.

This research aims to reveal the extent to which the role of the Palembang community in maintaining traffic order in the local area. The research approach used is qualitative with a focus on literature review equipped with supporting data to support the content of the research results. This research aims to identify the influence of culture and social norms on traffic awareness in Indonesia. Values that support high traffic awareness, such as mutual respect, concern for shared safety, and individual responsibility, are important factors in shaping public awareness of traffic. In addition, this research also highlights the role of communities in shaping traffic awareness. Through community activities, such as safety campaigns, joint patrols, and participation in educational programs, people are actively involved in maintaining traffic order in their neighborhoods. Based on the results of the research, it can be said that the Palembang community still does not play an active role in the implementation of traffic order and is still dependent on what is done by the Palembang Police Traffic Unit itself.

This research aims to determine how employees of the Deli Serdang Regency Public Library maintain the library materials there and the challenges or obstacles they face in doing so. This type of research uses qualitative and descriptive methodology. Data collection methods use observation, interviews, and documentation. Purposive sampling, which is used in this research, is to identify informants. Technical data analysis is carried out in four ways, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From the results of the research conducted by the researcher, it can be concluded that the maintenance of library materials carried out by the Deli Serdang Regency Public Library is repairing damaged books by covering books, sewing, maintaining cleanliness on the bookshelves, and making appeals to users to work together to maintain and keep the books. The obstacles faced in maintaining library materials at the Deli Serdang Regency Public Library are equipment that are still minimal and inadequate, lack of human resources, and lack of awareness of the users themselves.

Perpustakaan saat ini sangat diperlukan dalam pencarian informasi dan referensi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna perpustakaan. Namun ada tiga faktor yang dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pada bahan perpustakaan, yaitu faktor lingkungan, faktor manusia, dan faktor biota. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui upaya-upaya yang telah dilakukan oleh Unit Perpustakaan UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta, yang juga dikenal sebagai UIN RMS Surakarta, dalam merawat dan melestarikan bahan perpustakaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Analisis data yang diperoleh mengungkapkan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kerusakan pada bahan perpustakaan, langkah-langkah pemeliharaan yang telah dilakukan untuk mencegah kerusakan bahan perpustakaan di Perpustakaan UIN RMS Surakarta, dan langkah-langkah pelestarian yang telah dilakukan oleh Perpustakaan UIN RMS Surakarta. Untuk mencegah kerusakan pada bahan pustaka, beberapa strategi telah diterapkan, yaitu dengan mengatur kelembaban ruangan sesuai standar yang ada, menyediakan ruangan ber-AC agar bahan pustaka terlindungi dari kerusakan akibat kelembaban tinggi atau rendah, mengatur pencahayaan, melakukan fumigasi dua kali setahun, menetralisir bahan pustaka dengan pengukurannya menggunakan larutan khusus, membersihkan bahan pustaka dari debu dan kotoran, serta melakukan inventarisasi. Setelah menerapkan berbagai metode ini, diharapkan bahan pustaka akan terlindungi dengan baik dan selalu bermanfaat bagi pengguna perpustakaan.
