<![CDATA[This research was aimed to know the influence of cooperative learning model of think pair share type towards students mathematical communication skill. This research was quasi experiment with post-test only control group design. The population of this research was all students of grade IX in SMP Negeri 20 Bandar Lampung which consist of seven classes. The samples of this research were students of IX B as experiment class and students of IX A as control class that were selected by purposive random sampling. The data of this research was the score of post-test of students mathematical communication skill and it was analyzed by t-test. Based on the analysis of data, it was concluded that the cooperative learning model of think pair share type influence in students mathematical communication skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan ekperimen semu dengan post-test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 20 Bandar Lampung yang terdiri dari 7 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas IX A sebagai kelas kontrol yang dipilih secara purposive random sampling. Data penelitian ini berupa skor postes kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dan dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share berpengaruh terhadap komunikasi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: komunikasi matematis, pembelajaran kooperatif, think pair share]]>
