<![CDATA[This quasi experimental research aimed to find out the influence of of Cooperative Learning Think Pair Share Type towards Students’ Mathematical Representation Skill. The population of this research was students of class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bunga Mayang in academic year of 2017/2018 as much as 112 students that were distributed into four classes. The sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique and it was chosen students of VIII C and VIII D as samples. The design which was used in this research was the pretest-posttest design control group design. The data analysis which was used was t test. The result of this research show that enhancement of mathematical representation skill of student who follow learning with TPS model higher than mathematical representation skill of student who follow learning with convensional model. Based on the results and working through of research, the conclusion of the research is the TPS model was influence to student’s mathematical representation skill. Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bunga Mayang tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 sebanyak 112 siswa dan terdistribusi dalam empat kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling dan terpilih siswa pada kelas VIII C dan VIII D sebagai sampel. Desain yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran TPS lebih tinggi daripada pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa.
