<![CDATA[ABSTRAKPenelitian eksplorasi ini bertujuan untuk mengisolasi danmengidentifikasi senyawa metabolit sekunder yang terdapat dalamekstrak etil asetat kulit batang belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbiLinn). Isolasi dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap yaitu ekstraksi,fraksinasi, pemurnian dan identifikasi. Hasil penelitian diperolehisolat berupa kristal berbentuk jarum berwarna putih dengan titikleleh 110-112oC. Isolat menunjukkan respon positif terhadap ujireagent Lieberman Burchard. Spektrum FTIR menunjukkan bilangangelombang (cm-1) yakni: 1051,20 (C-O); 1463,97 dan 1377,17 (CH2dan CH3); 1645,28 (C=C); 2935,66 (C-H); 3425,65 (OH alkohol).Berdasarkan uji pereaksi dan data spektra FTIR disimpulkan bahwaisolat merupakan senyawa golongan sterol.Kata kunci: Isolasi, A. bilimbi Linn, FTIR, SterolABSTRACTThis research aims to isolate and identify the secondarymetabolit compound contained in the ethyl acetate extract of bark ofAverrhoa bilimbi Linn. Isolation is done in several stages; extraction,fractionation, purification, and identification. The result was obtainedas pure an isolate in white needle crystal with a melting point of 110-112 . The isolate gives a positive respond to Lieberman-Burchardreagent test. Isolate was identified by analyzing the infra red spectrumwhich showed the wave number (cm-1) are: 1051,20 (CO); 1463.97and 1377.17 (CH2 and CH3); 1645.28(C = C); 2935.66 (C-H);3425,28 (OH alcohol).
