Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini secara umum untuk mengetahui penerapan langkah-langkah pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen pada materi perubahan sifat benda dan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa. Terdapat peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I  aktivitas bertanya sebesar 45%, aktivitas menjawab pertanyaan sebesar 45%, aktivitas mengemukakan pendapat sebesar 40% dan aktivitas melaksanakan tugas sebesar 65%. Pada siklus ke II aktivitas bertanya sebesar 75%, terjadi peningkatan sebesar 30%, aktivitas menjawab pertanyaan sebesar 70%, terjadi peningkatan sebesar 25%, aktivitas mengemukakan pendapat sebesar 65%, terjadi peningkatan sebesar 25%, dan aktivitas melaksanakan tugas sebesar 80%,  terjadi peningkatan sebesar 15%. Kata Kunci : Metode Eksperimen, Pembelajaran  IPA Abstract: The general purpose of this study was to determine the application of measures of learning science by using experimental methods in material changes in the nature of things and to improve student learning activities. There is increased activity of students in the first cycle of activity asked by 45%, answered questions activity by 45%, the activity of expression by 40% and the activity of performing the task by 65%. In cycle II activities asked by 75%, an increase of 30%, the activity answered questions by 70%, an increase of 25%, the activity of expression by 65%, an increase of 25%, and the activity of duty of 80%, an increase of 15%.
