Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of light intensity on the hatchability of carp (Cyprinus carpio) eggs. This research method uses a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. BNT results (the smallest significant difference) showed that treatments A, B and D had an effect on treatment C, treatments A, B and D had no effect. The optimal egg hatching rate or the best 18 watts C treatment with hatching power 94% then followed by the 11 watts B treatment 68.67% and 65.33% control D treatments, and the lowest hatching is in treatment A 62.67%. Katakunci: Ikan mas; telur; intensitas cahaya; daya tetas Keywords: Carp; egg; light intensity; hatchability
