PEMBELAJARAN SIMAYANG TIPE II UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SELF-EFFICACY DAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS

Abstract

The pre-experiment research with One Group Pretest-Postest design had been done in SMAN 8 Bandar Lampung. The aims of this research were to describe the effectiveness and practicality of SiMaYang Type II learning model in improving self-efficacy and science process skill on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution topic. The samples on this research were first-year secondary students (X7 and X9classes) that was obtained by using cluster random sampling. The results showed that SiMaYang Type II learning model had high criteria of effectiveness and very high criteria of practicality to improve self-efficacy and science process skill on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution topic.Penelitian pre-eksperimen dengan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design telah dilakukan di SMA Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan dan kepraktisan model pembelajaran SiMaYang Tipe II dalam meningkatkan self-efficacy dan keterampilan proses sains pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non-elektrolit. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa tahun pertama (kelas X7 dan X9)yang diperoleh dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran SiMaYang Tipe II memiliki keefektifan dengan kriteria tinggi dan kepraktisan dengan kriteria sangat tinggi untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy dan keterampilan proses sains pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non-elektrolit.Kata kunci: keefektifan, kepraktisan, proses sains, self-efficacy, SiMaYangTipe II
