Pengaruh Strategi Scaffolding dalam Pembelajaran SiMaYang untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar

Abstract

To improve student's learning motivation on electrolyte and non electrolyte solution materials had been conducted a research about the influence of scaffolding strategy in SiMaYang learning. The population of the research was all 10th graders at SMA Al-Azhar 3 Bandarlampung that consist of six classes and sampling was done randomly by using random cluster sampling technique so that selected experimental class (10th IPA 3) and the control class (10th IPA 4) with pretest-posttest control group design method. The effectof scaffolding strategy was measured by implementation of SiMaYang learning model, implementation of scaffolding, and questionnaire students learning motivationwere used difference of two average test and effect size test. The result showed thatscaffolding strategy inSiMaYang learning has a big effect in improving students learning motivation.Untuk peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit telah dilakukan penelitian pengaruh strategi scaffolding dalam pembelajaran SiMaYang. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X IPA SMA Al-Azhar 3 Bandarlampung yang terdiri dari enam kelas dan penentuan sampel dilakukan secara acak dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling sehingga terpilih kelas eksperimen (X IPA 3) dan kelas kontrol (X IPA 4) dengan metode pretest-posttest control group design. Pengaruh strategiscaffoldingditentukan berdasarkan keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran SiMaYang, keterlaksanaanscaffolding, dan angket motivasi belajar siswa ditentukan dengan uji perbedaan dua rata-rata dan uji effect size. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategiscaffoldingpada pembelajaran SiMaYang berpengaruh besar terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa.Kata kunci: motivasi belajar, scaffolding, SiMaYang
