Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve the activity of the fourth grade students on learning sciences Social Sciences using techniques Think-Pair-Share (TPS) Private Elementary School Al-Kauthar. The method used is descriptive. The research subjects were teachers and learners. By using Think-Pair-Share (TPS) in grade fourth in Private Elementary School Al-Kauthar proven to improve learners' learning activities. Of data that have been obtained increase in physical activity prior to the research from 25% in the first cycle into 66.67% and the second cycle increased as big as 84.72%. Increased mental activity prior to the research increased as big as 27.78% increased in the first cycle into 67.78% and the second cycle increased as big as 84.44%. Increased emotional activity prior to the research as big as 24.07% increased in the first cycle as big as 72.22% and the second cycle increased into 87.04%. Keyword : Increased, activity learning learning sciences Social Sciences,of Think- Pair- Share(TPS) technique Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas peserta didik kelas IV pada pembelajaran ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial menggunakan teknik Think-Pair-Share (TPS) di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta Al-Kautsar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan peserta didik. Dengan menggunakan teknik Think-Pair-Share(TPS) di kelas IV Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta Al-Kautsar terbukti mampu meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik. Dari data yang telah diperoleh peningkatan aktivitas fisik sebelum dilakukan penelitian sebesar 25% meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 66,67% dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 84,72%. Peningkatan aktivitas mental sebelum dilakukan penelitian sebesar 27,78% meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 67,78% dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 84,44%. Peningkatan aktivitas emosional sebelum dilakukan penelitian sebesar 24,07% meningkat pada siklus I sebesar 72,22% dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 87,04%. Kata Kunci: Peningkatan, Aktivitas Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, Teknik Think-Pair-Share.
