Abstract

Strategic use of modeling the way in class VI SDN 43 river snapper. This research aims to enhance learning activities in class IV IPA SDN 43 river snapper through the use of strategies modeling the way. Research method used is descriptive method, a from of action research (PTK). The results of this research are: 1). Learning plan using strategic modeling the way implemented in accordance with the plan of learning (RPP) the draft strategy measures modeling the way, materials, worksheets, format observation and teacher performance assessment instrument (IPKG). 2). Students learning activities using strategies modeling the way the media varied with plant leaves in class IV SDN 43 river snapper run de well with the average activity in cycle I for 77,27% and in cycle II the average activity of 8337%. 3). Learning increases students ability to understand the positive and increasing in cycle II with the implementation of the lesson using strategic modeling the way cycle I and cycle II with an excellent rating categories. Key word: usage, strategy modeling the way Abstrak: Penggunaan Strategi Modelling The Way di kelas VI SDN 43 Sungai Kakap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran IPA di kelas IV SDN 43 Sungai Kakap melalui penggunaan strategi Modelling the Way. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, dengan bentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1). Perencanaan pembelajaran menggunakan strategi modelling the way dilaksanakan sesuai dengan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) dengan rancangan langkah-langkah strategi modelling the way, materi, LKS, format observasi, serta intsrumen penilaian kinerja guru (IPKG). 2). Aktivitas belajar siswa menggunakan strategi Modelling The Way yang divariasikan dengan media tumbuhan daun di kelas IV SDN 43 Sungai Kakap berjalan dengan baik dengan rata-rata keaktifan pada siklus I sebesar 77,27 % dan pada siklus II rata-rata keaktifan sebesar 87,37%. 3). Kemampuan siswa memahami pembelajaran meningkat positif dan terus meningkat pada Siklus II dengan terlaksananya pelaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan strategi modelling the way siklus I dan II dengan kategori penilaian sangat baik.
