Abstract

Abstrak: Masalah pada penelitian ini adalah usaha untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik pada pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam dengan menggunakan metode inquiry di kelas V SDN 07 Tanak Sanggau. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, bentuknya penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), dan sifat penelitian bersifat kolaboratif, subjek penelitian yaitu guru dan peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 07 Tanak Sanggau yang berjumlah 16 orang. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi langsung, teknik dokumenter, dan alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah pedoman observasi. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan observasi dengan menggunakan metode inquiry dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis yang menyatakan penerapan metode inquiry pada pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam di kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 07 Tanak Sanggau dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik, diterima. Kata kunci : Aktivitas Belajar, Pembelajaran IPA, Metode Inquiry. Abstract: The problem in this research is an attempt to improve the learners' learning activities by using inquiry method in Natural Science subjects at the fifth grade students in the Elementary School 07 Tanak Sanggau. This research method is descriptive, in the Classroom Action Research, and the nature of this research is qualitative research, the research subjects are teacher and fifth grade students in the Elementary School 07 Tanak Sanggau which consisted of 16 people in whole. The techniques used in this research were the technique of direct observation, documentary technique, and data collection tool were used as observation guidelines. The result based on observation by using inquiry method had improved can learning activity of students. This shows that the hypothesis that stated the using of the inquiry method in natural Science lessons at the fifth grade in the Elementary School 07 Tanak Sanggau can improve learners' learning activities, accepted.
