Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial di kelas Va SD Negeri 52 Pontianak Kota. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru IPS dan  peserta didik. Dengan menggunakan model kooperatif Tipe Think-Pair-Share(TPS) di kelas V SD Negeri 52 Pontianak Kota terbukti mampu meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik. Dari data yang telah diperoleh peningkatan aktivitas fisik dari baseline 26,57% ke siklus II 88,28% dengan selisih 61,71% dikatagorikan tinggi. Peningkatan aktivitas mental dari baseline 12,50% menjadi 84,38% di siklus II dengan selisih 71,88% dikatagorikan tinggi. Peningkatan aktivitas emosional dari baseline 13,54% menjadi 87,50% di siklus II dengan selisih 73,96%, dikatagorikan tinggi. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran, Kooperatif  Think-Pair-Share. Abstract: This research aims to increase the activity of the Social Sciences in Va class 52 Pontianak City Elementary School. The method used is descriptive. This research subject is social studies teachers and learners. By using the cooperative model of Type Think-Pair-Share (TPS) in a class V SD Negeri 52 Pontianak City proved to increase the activity of learners. From the data that has been obtained by an increase in physical activity from baseline 26.57% to 88.28% the second cycle by a margin of 61.71% are categorized as high. Increased mental activity from baseline 12.50% to 84.38% in the second cycle by a margin of 71.88% are categorized as high. Increased emotional activity from baseline 13.54% to 87.50% in the second cycle by a margin of 73.96%, higher categorized.   Keyword : cooperative model of Think- Pair- Share(TPS) technique
