Abstract

Abstrak: Korelasi penguasaan kosakata bersifat pasif-reseptif dengan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas VI Sekolah Dasar Negeri 14 Pontianak Selatan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang bagaimanakorelasi penguasaan kosakata bersifat pasif-reseptif dengan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas VI Sekolah Dasar Negeri 14 Pontianak Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif berbentuk studi korelasi.Berdasarkan perhitungan statistik, nilai rata-rata tes penguasaan kosakata bersifat pasif-reseptif sebesar 6,96, dan nilai rata-rata tes keterampilan membaca pemahaman sebesar 6,66, yang berarti keduanya termasuk kategori cukup. Tingkat korelasi antara kedua variabel termasuk kategori kuat dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,686.Korelasi berbentuk positif dan signifikan karena rxy> rtabel, yaitu 0,686 > 0,361.Hal ini berartiHa diterima, sedangkan H0 ditolak.Dengan demikian, terdapat korelasi positif dan signifikan antara penguasaan kosakata bersifat pasif-reseptif dengan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas VI Sekolah Dasar Negeri 14 Pontianak Selatan. Kata kunci: Korelasi, Penguasaan Kosakata, Pasif-Reseptif, Keterampilan Membaca Pemahaman Abstrack: The correlation of passive-receptive vocabulary mastery with reading comprehension skill of sixth grader student in Sekolah Dasar Negeri 14 South Pontianak. The purpose of this research is to get information of how about correlation of passive-receptive vocabulary mastery with reading comprehension skill of sixth grader student in Sekolah Dasar Negeri 14 South Pontianak. The research methode is descriptive, have the form correlation study. Based on statistic calculation, average value of passive-receptive vocabulary mastery test is 6,96, and average value of reading comprehension skill test is 6,66, its means both of them categorys is quite. Correlation is possitive and significant because rxy > rtable, that is0,686 > 0,361. Its means Ha received and H0 is rejected. So, there is possitive and significant correlation between passive-receptive vocabulary mastery with reading comprehension skill of sixth grader student in Sekolah Dasar Negeri 14 South Pontianak.
