Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap kesulitan siswa dan untuk mengetahui apakah remediasi menggunakan wawancara klinis dapat mengatasi kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal aritmatika sosial. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitis, bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 3 orang siswa kelas VIII MTs Mujahidin Pontianak yang mengalami kesulitan pada materi aritmatika sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ketiga orang subjek penelitian mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal aritmatika sosial, meliputi: kesulitan dalam menuliskan hal yang diketahui, hal yang ditanyakan serta menyimpulkan hasil penyelesaian soal. Kesulitan memahami jumlah pembelian dan penjualan secara keseluruhan. Kesulitan memahami konsep untung, rugi dan persentasenya. Kesulitan memahami konsep harga pembelian dan penjualan persatuan barang. Dari hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa remediasi menggunakan wawancara klinis belum dapat mengatasi kesulitan siswa secara maksimal namun kesulitan tersebut dapat diminimalisir dilihat dari pre test dan post test menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan siswa berkurang setelah diberikan remediasi meskipun siswa masih melakukan kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal. Kata kunci: Remediasi, Wawancara Klinis Abstract. This research aims to revial students difficulties and to determine if remediation using a clinical interview students to overcome the difficulties in solving arithmetic problems of social. Method used is descriptive analysis, the from of case studies. The study subjects were three students of class VIII MTs Mujahidin Pontianak who have difficalty in social arithmatic material. Result of study showed the results of the study have difficulty in solving social arithmatic, include; difficulty in writing down things that are known, it is askes and conclude the settlement of a matter. Difficulties experienced a mount of purchase and sale as a whole, difficulty understanding the concept of and loss, and percentages, difficultty understanding concept of the unity of the purchase price and the sale of good. Of the results of date analysis showed that remediation using a clinical interview can not be minimized seen from the pre test and post test shows that the error decriases as students are given remediation while still making mistakes in problems solving.
