<![CDATA[Abstrak: Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Apakah penerapan model cooperative learning tipe group Investigation dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV MIN Sungai Bakau Besar Laut pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial? Tujuan penelitian adalah medeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dengan penerapan Model Cooperative Learning tipe Group Investigation siswa kelas IV MIN Sungai Bakau Besar Laut pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, bentuk penelitian yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas, sifat penelitian kolaboratif. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 3 siklus. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh aktivitas siswa dari siklus 1 yaitu 67,33%, siklus 2 yaitu 78,66 %, dan siklus 3 yaitu 88%. Hasil belajar siswa dari siklus 1 yaitu 70,4, siklus 2 yaitu 81,6, dan siklus 3 yaitu 86. Dengan dilaksanakannya cooperative learning tipe group investigation terlihat aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan. The research purpose is to describe the implementation by using group investigation can be increasing of students’ activity in learning and result student achievement social science material in the fourth grade of MIN Sungai Bakau Besar Laut. Method of this research is descriptive, by using classroom action research, collaborative. This research is alone three circles. Research result is students’ activity of the first is 67,33%, the second circle is 78,66% and the three circles is 88%. Student achievement of the first circle is 71,4, the second circle is 81,6 and the three circles is 88.
