PENGARUH MODEL KOOPERATIF TGT TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji seberapa besar pengaruh penerapan model kooperatif teams games tournament terhadap hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial pada siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 14 Pontianak Selatan. Penelitian ini  menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan bentuk Pre-Experimental Design jenis One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 33 siswa yang mana seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel. Hasil perhitungan uji t diperoleh thitung 12,11 sedangkan ttabel dengan dk = 33-1 = 32 dan taraf signifikan ( = 0,05 adalah 1,694, ternyata thitung ≥ ttabel atau 12,11 ≥ 1,694 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan model kooperatif teams games tournament. Dari hasil perhitungan effect size (ES), sebesar 1,19 dengan kriteria tergolong tinggi. Hal ini berarti model kooperatif teams games tournament memberikan pengaruh yang tinggi terhadap hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial pada siswa kelas V SDN 14 Pontianak Selatan.   Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Kooperatif, Teams Games Tournament, Hasil Belajar   Abstract: This study aimed to test how much influence the implementation of the cooperative model teams tournament games to the learning outcomes of Social Sciences at the fifth grade students of State Elementary School 14 South Pontianak. This study used an experimental method to form Pre-Experimental Design type one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study are 33 students in which the entire population sampled. The calculation result obtained t t test 12.11 while ttabel with dk = 33-1 = 32 and a significant level (α) = 0.05 is 1.694, turns thitung ttable or ≥ 12.11 ≥ 1.694, which means a significant influence on the application cooperative model teams tournament games. From the calculation of effect size (ES), of 1.19 with a relatively high criteria.
