Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan seberapa besar pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran simulasi sosial dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan siswa kelas V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nahdlatul Ulama III Pontianak Barat. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Seluruh siswa kelas V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nahdlatul Ulama III Pontianak Barat tahun ajaran 2013/2014 menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini yang terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu, kelas VA dan VB yang berjumlah 56 siswa. Alat pengumpulan data berupa tes hasil belajar siswa yang berbentuk pilihan ganda berjumlah dua puluh delapan soal. Berdasarkan perhitungan statistik dari rata-rata hasil pretest kelas kontrol 41,20 dan rata-rata pretest kelas Eksperimen 39,92 sedangkan untuk hasil post-test kelas kontrol 64,29 dan rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen 71,94. Dari perhitungan effect size (ES), diperoleh 0,63 (kriteria sedang). Hal ini berarti model pembelajaran simulasi sosial memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. This is a form of quasi-experimental research with this study design is nonequivalent control group design. All students in grade V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nahdlatul Ulama III Pontianak west academic year 2013/2014 be sampled in this study which consists of two classes is VA and VB, amounting to 56 students. Data collection tools such as tests of student learning outcomes in the form of multiple choice questions numbered twenty eight. Based on statistical calculations of the experiment results of the pretest control class 41,20 and pretest experiment of 39.92 while the experiment class for post-test results of the control class experiment of 64.29 and post-test experimental class 71.94. From the calculation of effect size (ES), obtained 0.63 (criterion being). This means that social learning model simulating an impact on student learning outcomes.
