Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan sikap ilmiah, meningkatkan prestasi belajar fisika siswa serta mendeskripsikan tanggapan siswa terhadap penerapan model project based learning. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Sukasada. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode kuisioner (angket) dan tes, serta dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penerapan model project based learning dapat meningkatkan sikap ilmiah siswa dan prestasi belajar fisika siswa. Hasil penelitian terhadap sikap ilmiah siswa pada Siklus I sebesar 113,50 dan pada Siklus II sebesar 110,00, kedua siklus dikategorikan dengan kategori tinggi. Dalam hal prestasi belajar, terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata dan nilai ketuntasan belajar fisika siswa yaitu dari 80,84 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar 81,25% pada siklus I menjadi 82,88 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar 87,50% pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil kuisioner terkait tanggapan siswa terhadap penerapan model project based learning pada pembelajaran fisika diperoleh skor rata-rata tanggapan siswa sebesar 56,75 dengan kategori positif.Kata Kunci : sikap ilmiah, prestasi belajar, project based learning This research aimed at increasing scientific attitude, increasing students’ physics learning achievement, and describing the response of the students on the implementation of project based learning model. The subject of this study was the eleventh grade students of science class 2 at SMA Negeri 1 Sukasada. This research used classroom action research design. The data were collected by using questionnaires and tests and analyzed by using descriptive analysis. The result of this research shows that the implementation of project based learning model increase the students’ scientific attitude and physics learning achievement. The students’ scientific attitude in cycle I is 113.50 and in cycle II is 110.00, and both scores are categorized as “high” categories. In the terms of students’ learning achievement, there are increasing in the students’ average score and physics’ passing grade score from 80.84 in cycle I with the percentage of passing grade score 81,25% to become 82,88 in cycle II with the percentage of passing grade 87,50%. Based on the result of questionnaire about students’ response on the implementation of project based learning model in physics course, it is obtained that the average score of student’s response is positive with positive category.keyword : learning activity, learning outcomes, project based learning
