Sanitation is an effort aimed at environmental risk factors on a ship to break the chain of disease transmission to maintain and enhance health status. Vessel sanitation covers all aspects of ship compartment assessment including kitchens, food supply halls, hatches, warehouses, ship crew rooms, water supply, and food presentation and vector control of infectious diseases or rodents. The purpose of this study is to describe the sanitation of ships. This study uses a meta-analysis method with content analysis, which examines several articles on ship sanitation. From the results of the meta-analysis that most of the ships have carried out sanitation and cleanliness of the ship correctly, but there are still some who have not properly implemented sanitation.
