<![CDATA[Library Malang application is an mobile application belonging to the Department of Library and Regional Archives Malang City. This application provides an online library service where users can read the Malang Library's book collection through the application. However, this app still has some issues. One of the interviews with users said that the appearance of the application which was less consistent in terms of color, size, and font type made users uncomfortable. The researcher also conducted initial research by evaluating the initial design using the heuristic evaluation method. The initial research resulted 11 usability and user interface problems. From the problems that have been described, the author conducted evaluation and improvement activities to the Library Malang application by using heuristic evaluation method to solve the problem of usability and user interface and Human Centered Design (HCD) approach. The stages in this research are identifying problems by interviewing stakeholder and users, study literature related to methods and related problems, carry out analysis and specification of usage contexts, carry out analysis and specification of user requirements, test and analyze preliminary designs using Heuristic Evaluation method, make solutions design, evaluate solution design using Heuristic Evaluation method, and compare the initial design and final design.]]>
