SEMEN PCC SEBAGAI MATERIAL GREEN CONSTRUCTION DAN KINERJA BETON YANG DIHASILKAN

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tipe semen PC (Portland Cement) dan PCC (Porttland Composite Cemenrt) banyak digunakan sebagai bahan bangunan pembentuk beton pada proyek konstruksi  oleh para penyedia jasa seperti kontraktor maupun perusahaan ready-mix. Semen PCC merupakan semen dalam Green Listing Indonesia  dari Green Building Council Indonesia dan merupakan realisasi komitmen industri terhadap permasalahan lingkungan.  Penggunaan Semen  PCC  dengan kandungan Fly-Ash (FA) lebih tinggi  sering dikhawatirkan kekuatannya sebagai beton struktural dibanding semen PC oleh pihak pengguna jasa. Pada penelitian ini dikaji pengaruh penggunaan semen PC dan semen PCC pada beton fc’25 dilihat dari perbedaan kandungan FA, berat jenis(BJ)  dan komposisi mix-design terhadap  kuat tekan beton yang dihasilkan. Hasil analisa menunjukkan bahwa beton semen PC dan PCC (dengan kandungan FA max 22%, BJ >3) dengan Standar Deviasi(SD) =6 MPa dapat mencapai fc’25 yang direncanakan, dengan efisiensi biaya 8,1%  per m3  beton. Maka penggunaan semen PCC harus diawali dengan pemeriksaan spesifikasi produk semennya, karena hasil uji menunjukkan beton semen PCC yang tidak memenuhi kriteria di atas, tidak mencapai fc’yang direncanakan sehingga untuk meningkatkan kekuatannya dapat dilakukan dengan memperbesar nilai SD pada analisa mix-design atau memberi bahan additive.Penggunaan semen PCC sangat direkomendasi karena merupakan meterial ramah lingkungan yang menunjang material untuk Green Construction.                       Kata kunci: Semen ramah lingkungan, mix-design, kinerja beton.   ABSTRACT  Type of PC cement (Portland Cement) and PCC (Portland Composite Cement) are widely used as concrete building material for construction projects by service providers such as contractors and ready-mix companies. PCC cement is cement in the Green Listing Indonesia of the Green Building Council Indonesia and is a realization of the industry's commitment to environmental problems. The use of PCC Cement with higher Fly-Ash (FA) content is often feared for its strength as structural concrete compared to PC cement by service users. In this study the effect of PC cement and PCC cement on concrete fc '25 was examined as seen from differences in FA content, specific gravity (BJ) and mix-design composition on the compressive strength of the concrete produced. The analysis shows that PC and PCC cement concrete (with a max FA content of 22%, BJ> 3) with a Standard Deviation (SD) = 6 MPa can reach the planned fc'25, with a cost efficiency of 8.1% per m3 of concrete. So the use of PCC cement must be preceded by checking the specifications of the cement product, because the test results show that the PCC cement concrete which does not meet the above criteria, does not reach the planned plan so as to increase its strength can be done by increasing the SD value in the mix-design analysis or providing material additive. The use of PCC cement is highly recommended because it is an environmentally friendly meterial that supports materials for Green Construction. Keywords: Environmentally friendly cement, mix-design, concrete performance.
