<![CDATA[  This study examines the concept of mission and reinterpretation of mission in the public sphere. This study aims to reinterpret the text of Matthew 28:19-21 in the public sphere and then position the missiological substance in a relevant way. This research is expected to provide socio-theological understanding in pluralism to churches and believers so that they have a responsibility in the mission but need to review the concept of mission in the public sphere. The author uses qualitative research. This study concludes that the interpretation of the mission in the description of the text of Matthew 28: 19-21 must be understood comprehensively and seeks to place the mission contextually without leaving the joints of diversity.  AbstrakPenelitian ini mengkaji konsep misi dan reinterpretasi misi di ruang publik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mereinterpretasikan teks Matius 28:19-21 di ruang publik selanjutnya memosisikan substansi misiologis secara relevan. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberi pemahaman sosio-teologis dalam kemajemukan kepada gereja dan orang percaya agar memiliki tanggung jawab dalam misi namun perlu mengkaji ulang konsep misi di ruang publik. Penulis menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa interpretasi misi dalam uraian teks Matius 28: 19-21 harus dipahami secara komprehensif dan berusaha untuk menempatkan misi secara kontekstual tanpa meninggalkan sendi-sendi keberagaman.    ]]>
