Abstract

This study discusses the process of learning the Muli Siger Dance motion using the PRP strategy in the subjects of arts and culture at SMP Negeri 1 Ambarawa. This research was conducted to describe the process of learning the motion of the Muli Siger Dance movement by referring to behavioristic theories and using descriptive qualitative research. Data obtained from the learning process of the student can be seen from the observations of students activities and observations of teacher activities. The data obtained was done by observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of this study are the process of learning the Muli Siger Dance movement using the PRP strategy, which in general the learning process is going well. The teacher is able to apply the learning process using the PRP strategy although there are several obstacles of which the students are not practicing a variety of movements due to limited space optimally. Penelitian ini membahas tentang proses pembelajaran gerak tari muli siger menggunakan strategi PRP pada mata pelajaran seni budaya di SMP Negeri 1 Ambarawa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran gerak tari muli siger dengan mengacu pada teori behavioristik dan menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh dari proses belajar siswa yang dilihat dari hasil pengamatan aktivitas siswa dan pengamatan aktivitas guru. Data yang diperoleh dilakukan dengan observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini merupakan proses pembelajaran gerak tari muli siger menggunakan strategi PRP, yang mana secara garis besar proses pembelajaran tersebut berjalan dengan baik. Guru sudah mampu menerapkan proses pembelajaran menggunakan strategi PRP walaupun terdapat beberapa kendala, yaitu siswa tidak maksimal dalam mempraktikan ragam gerak dikarenakan terbatasnya ruangan.  Kata kunci: Pembelajaran, Strategi Practice Rehearsal Pairs, Tari Muli Siger.
