Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa, serta mendeskripsikan tanggapan siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran langsung berbantuan pemodelan pada pembelajaran renang. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII Program Keahlian Akuntansi SMK PGRI 1 Singaraja. Obyek penelitian ini adalah motivasi, prestasi belajar, dan tanggapan siswa. Data hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan motivasi belajar siswa meningkat dari skor rata-rata 117,31 dengan kategori tinggi pada siklus I menjadi 123,67 dengan kategori sangat tinggi pada siklus II, sehingga mengalami kenaikan sebesar 6,36%; (2) prestasi belajar siswa meningkat dari skor rata-rata 85,28 pada siklus I menjadi 93,61 pada siklus II, sehingga mengalami peningkatan 8,3%; (3) tanggapan siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran langsung berbantuan pemodelan berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 123,5. Penerapan model pembelajaran langsung berbantuan pemodelan dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas XII Program Keahlian Akuntansi SMK PGRI 1 Singaraja pada materi pembelajaran renang. Kata Kunci : Pembelajaran Langsung, Pemodelan, Prestasi Belajar The objectives of this classroom action research are to improve studentsâ motivation and achievement,  and to describe studentsâ responses upon the implementation of direct instruction learning modell assisted modelling in swimming class. The subject of this research is the twelefth grade of Accounting Department students of SMK PGRI 1 Singaraja. The number of the subjects are 36 students. The objects of this research are motivation, studentsâ achievement, and  studentsâ responses upon the implementation of direct instruction learning model assisted modelling. The obtained data were analyzed using descriptive statistic. The results of the analysis show:  (1) there was an improvement of studentsâ motivation from 117.31 in average (high category) in cycle I became 123.67 in average in cycle II, therefore the improvement was 6.36%; (2) there was an improvement  of studentsâ achievement from  85.28 in average in cycle I became 93.61 in cyle II, therefore the improvement was 8,3%; (3) the studentsâ responses upon the implementation of lirect instruction learning model assisted modelling in the level of very positive category.
