Abstract

Abstrak: Pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi dan anatomi alat reproduksi perlu diketahui oleh para orang tua. Dengan demikian orang tua mempunyai bekal untuk memberikan informasi tersebut kepada putrinya. Anak tidak menerima informasi hanya dari lingkungan, tetapi informasi langsung dari orang tua merupakan hal penting. Selain menunjukkan kedekatan antara orang tua dan anak, maka anak pun akan merasa aman mendiskusikan hal-hal seputar alat reproduksi bila menginginkannya. Tujuan: Membekali orang tua tentang anatomi alat reproduksi dan pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi agar bisa memberikan informasi tersebut pada putra-putri mereka. Metode: Memberikan penyuluhan tentang anatomi alat reproduksi dan kesehatan reproduksi. Penyuluhan diawali dengan pretes dan diakhiri dengan postes. Hasil & implikasi: Rerata nilai pretes 65% meningkat menjadi 87% sebagai nilai postes. Peserta penyuluhan merasa mendapat bekal yang cukup untuk lebih memahami anatomi alat reproduksi dan informasi seputar kesehatan reproduksi. Kesimpulan: Materi penyuluhan dirasakan mengena oleh orang tua selaku peserta pengabdian. Hal tersebut menjadi bekal mereka dalam berdiskusi dan mengawal putra-putri.Abstract:  Parents need to know about reproductive health and anatomy of reproductive organs. Thus parents have the provision to provide this information to their daughters. Children do not receive information only from the environment, but information directly from parents is important. In addition to showing the closeness between parents and children, children will feel safe discussing matters related to reproductive organs if they wish. Objective: To provide parents with the anatomy of reproductive organs and knowledge of reproductive health so that they can provide this information to their children. Methods: Provide counseling about the anatomy of reproductive organs and reproductive health. Counseling begins with a pretest and ends with a pretest. Results & implications: The mean pretest score of 65% increased to 87% as the posttest score. The counseling participants felt that they were well equipped to better understand the anatomy of the reproductive organs and information about reproductive health. Conclusion: The counseling material was felt by parents as service participants. This has become their provision in discussing and escorting their children to be wise in knowing reproductive organs and discussing reproductive health.
