Charles Sanders Peirce was an important figures as the foundation of pragmatism about the truth seeking's theory. He was called the father of pragmatism. According to Milton K. Munitz's review, Peirce's tought of science philosophy is divided into the Nature of Belief, Methods of Effectiveness of Opinion, Investigation: Truth and Reality, Theory of Meaning. Peirce viewed that to achieve a belief about truth, it must fulfill three basic characteristics, thats are propositions, judgments, and habits of thought. Peirce's thought of truth-seeking theory will give a positive contribution in the learning of Islamic Basic Education Science, including: Giving a contribution to the explanation of the theory of thinking in finding and exploring the truth of a meaning that has been believed; Contributing to the dynamic thought concept; Providing discourse on the development of new learn strategies Science of Islamic Basic Education for educators which includes stages: committed to results, exposing beliefs, expressing beliefs, accommodating concepts, expressing concepts and go beyond.
