PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR KOLOID BERMUATAN KARAKTER BERBASIS DISCOVERY-INQUIRY UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERKOMUNIKASI SISWA SMA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh bahan ajar berupa LKS materi koloid bermuatan karakter berbasis discovery-inquiry yang valid dan efektif serta dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berkomunikasi siswa, dan bertujuan mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penggunaan LKS dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D (Research and Develpoment). Hasil rerata skor penilaian terhadap LKS memiliki kriteria valid. Pengujian efektifitas penggunaan LKS dilaksanakan dengan model “one group pretest and posttest design”. Teknik analisis data dilakukan menggunakan paired sample t-test dan N-gain. Dengan capaian N-gain untuk keterampilan komunikasi tertulis 0,71 (tinggi) nilai signifikansi setelah diuji dengan SPSS menunjukkan sig<0,05. Selain itu kemampuan komunikasi lisan siswa meningkat dari kategori kemampuan baik (62%) menjadi kategori sangat baik (82%). Karakter meningkat dari kategori baik (15) menjadi sangat baik (26). Siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap LKS yang dikembangkan sebesar 85,6%. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahan ajar LKS bermuatan karakter berbasis discovery-inquiry memenuhi kriteria valid dan efektif serta dapat meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa.This research aims to acquire learning materials in the form of charged colloidal material is LKS character based discovery-inquiry is  valid and effective and can increase the skill, aims to find out against the use of student response is LKS in the study. This research uses the method R&D (Research and Develpoment). The results of the assessment of the average score is having valid criteria. Testing the effectiveness of the use of the model implemented LKS is "one-group pretest and posttest design". Technique of data analysis done in a paired sample t-test and N-gain.  N-gain for written communication skills 0,71 (high)  the value of significance after tested with SPSS shows sig < 0.05.In addition the oral communication skills of students increased from category ability good (62%) into the category of very good (82%). Characters increased from either category (15) be excellent (26). The students gave positive response towards LKS developed of 85,6%. Based on the results obtained can be inferred charged characters materials discovery-based inquiry meets the criteria valid and effective and can improve communication skills of the students.
