HUBUNGAN CYBERBULLYING VICTIMIZATION DENGAN HARGA DIRI SISWA SMPN2 HARAU PENGGUNA MEDIA SOSIAL

Abstract: Relationship Cyberbullying Victimization with Self-esteem Students SMPN2 Social Media Users. This study aims to find the relationship between cyberbullying victimization and self-esteem in students of SMPN 2 Harau social media users. The research design used is quantitative correlational. The population in the research all of students of junior high school number 2 Harau. The research subjects were students who experienced cyberbullying victimization on social media in Junior High School 2 Harau. The sampling method uses purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried outusing 12 item self-esteem scale with a reliability 0.813 and scale of cyberbullying victimization totaling 16 item with reliability 0.383. The result showed that there was a very significant relationship between cyberbullying victimization and self-esteem of students of junior high school number 2 Harau wit a correlation (r) coefficient of -0.879 and p=0.000 (p<0.01).Keywords: Cyberbullying victimization, self-esteem, social mediaAbstrak: Hubungan Cyberbullying Victimization dengan Harga Diri Siswa SMPN2 Harau Pengguna Media Sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara cyberbullying victimization dengan harga diri pada siswa SMPN 2 Harau pengguna media sosial. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi dalam peneltian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMPN 2 Harau. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 100 siswa SMPN 2 Harau yang mengalami cyberbullying victimization di media sosial. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala harga diri yang berjumlah 12 item dengan reliabilitas sebesar 0.813 dan skala cyberbullying victimization yang berjumlah 16 itemdengan reliabilitas sebesar 0.838. Analisis data menggunakan Product MomentCorrelation Coefisien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara cyberbullying victimization dengan harga diri siswa SMPN 2 Harau pengguna media sosial dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar -0.879 dan p=0,000(p<0,01).Kata kunci : Cyberbullying victimization, harga diri, media sosial
