<![CDATA[Contribution of peer social support to the tendency of proble focused coping to overseas student working on thesis. This study’s about there is a contribution of peer social support to the tendency of problem focused coping in overseas students who are working on thesis in Bukittinggi. The design is quantitative, population is student who working on thesis in Bukittinggi. The sampling was purposive sampling with total sample of 65 overseas students working on thesis in Bukittinggi. This study uses peer support scale that was adapted from Zaen (2016) and a problem focused coping scale by Kadili (2018). The data collection technique is distributing questionnaires. Testing the research sample using regression analysis. The results showed that r = 0.778 and regression value of p=0.000 (p <0.05). Based on these results it was concluded that the hypothesis was accepted and there was a contribution between social support of peers to tendency of problem focused coping to overseas students who were working on thesis in Bukittinggi Kontribusi dukungan sosial teman sebaya terhadap kecenderungan problem focused coping pada mahasiswa rantau yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui sejauh mana teman sebaya berkontribusi terhadap kecenderungan problem focused coping. Desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan populasi mahasiswa rantau skripsi di Bukittinggi. Teknik pengambilan sampelnya purposive sampling dengan sampel 65 orang mahasiswa di Bukittinggi. Pada penelitian ini digunakan skala yang diadaptasi dari penelitian Zaen (2016) dan skala problem focused coping yang diadaptasi dari Kadili (2018). Teknik pengambilan data yaitu dengan menyebarkan angket. Pengolahan data menggunakan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian didapatkan r = 0.778 dan nilai regresi sebesar p=0,000 (p<0,05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan hipotesis diterima dimana terdapat kontribusi antara dukungan teman sebaya terhadap kecenderungan problem focused coping pada mahasiswa rantau yang sedang mengerjakan skrispsi di Bukittinggi. ]]>
