<![CDATA[Abstract: Relationship of Coach-Athlete Intimacy with Competitive Anxiety Boxing Athletes. The aims of this study is to examine the relationship between coach-athlete intimacy and competitive anxiety boxing athletes of Sumatera Barat. This study use a quantitative method with the study population consisting of boxing athletes in Sumatera Barat. The sample is chosen by simple random sampling technique. Then the sample obtained is 35 people. Retrieval of research data using the athlete coach intimacy scale by Jowett (2003) and competitive anxiety scale by Sue (1986). The results of this study show that r score is r=-.543 which means moderate correlation with significance p= 0.001 (p <.05), which means that there is a coach-athlete intimacy relationship with competitive anxiety among boxing athletes of Sumatera Barat. Abstrak: Hubungan Intimasi Pelatih-Atlet dengan Kecemasan Bertanding Atlet Tinju. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini yakni untuk melihat hubungan intimasi pelatih-atlet dengan kecemasan bertanding atlet tinju Sumatera Barat. Jenis penelitan ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan populasi penelitian terdiri dari atlet tinju Sumatera Barat. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Sampel yang didapatkan sebanyak 35 orang. Pengambilan data penelitian menggunakan skala intimasi pelatih atlet oleh Jowett (2003) dan skala kecemasan bertanding oleh Sue (1986). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan nilai r=-.543 yang memiliki arti korelasi sedang dengan signifikansi p=0.001 (p < .05) yang memiliki arti bahwa adanya hubungan intimasi pelatih-atlet dengan kecemasan bertanding pada atlet tinju Sumatera Barat.]]>
