HUBUNGAN ANTARA REGULASI DIRI DENGAN PEMBELIAN IMPULSIF PADA PRODUK FASHION

Abstract

This study is aimed to know about the relationship of self regulation with impulsive buying on students that buy fashion products. Study used correlational quantitative method with a quantitative correlational research design. The population of this research is students at Department of Psychology at State University of Padang with 180 student subjects. Sampling technique used sampling purposive. Measurements used Impulse Buying Tendency Scale and Self Regulation Questionnaire (SRQ) Scale. Analysis of the data used the Product Moment Correlation coefisien. The results showed that there is a significant negative relationship between self regulation with impulsive buying on psychology students who buy fashion products (r = -7.96; p = 0.000).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara regulasi diri dengan pembelian impulsif pada mahasiswi Jurusan Psikologi Universitas Negeri Padang yang membeli produk fashion. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswi jurusan psikologi Universitas Negeri Padang dengan jumlah subjek 180 mahasiswi. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Pengukuran menggunakan Impulse Buying Tendency Scale dan Self-Regulation Questionnaire (SRQ). Analisis data menggunakan Product Moment Correlation Coefisien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara regulasi diri dengan pembelian impulsif pada mahasiswi Psikologi UNP yang membeli produk fashion (r = -7,96; p = 0,000).
