Abstract

The problem of this research is the compliance and the infraction of speaking manners of the conversation and the implication of bahasa in teaching learning process in SMA. The purpose of the research is to describe the politeness and bad manners of the conversation of drama script. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The data source of the research was the compliance and infraction of the speaking modesty which had happened in the conversation among the characters in the script of drama. The intensity of politeness which was most obeyed was the manners by using maxim of sympathy and the most bad manners which was used was the violation of maxim of deal. Applying speaking politeness can be observed by the relevant teacher from the result of students assignment in writing drama script.Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah penaatan dan pelanggaran terhadap kesantunan berbahasa dan implikasinya pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kesantunan dan ketidaksantunan berbahasa dalam naskah drama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah penaatan dan pelanggaran kesantunan berbahasa yang terjadi pada percakapan tokoh dalam naskah drama. Data kesantunan yang paling banyak, yakni kesantunan dengan maksim simpati dan ketidaksantunan yang paling banyak, yakni pelanggaran terhadap maksim kesepakatan. Kajian ini dapat diimplikasikan pada pembelajaran menulis naskah drama.Kata kunci: kesantunan, menulis naskah drama, pembelajaran.
