<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Pembelajaran materi persamaan garis lurus selama ini diajarkan dengan urutan sajian materi: diajarkan teori/definisi/teorema, diberikan contoh-contoh, dan diberikan soal latihan, dalam latihan soal barulah diberi soal cerita yang mungkin terkait dengan kehidupan sehari-hari justru soal bentuk cerita itulah yang sulit dipahami atau diselesaikan siswa. Hal inilah yang melatar belakangi penulis untuk mengajarkan materi persamaan garis lurus dengan menggunakan pendekatan Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi persamaan garis lurus dengan menggunakan pendekatan PMRI pada siswa Kelas VIIID SMP Negeri 1 Airmadidi. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan 2 (dua) siklus dengan prosedur, yaitu (1) Perencanaan, (2) Pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) Observasi, dan (4) Refleksi. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data adalah teknik deskriptif komparatif dan teknik analisis kritis. Hasil siklus I adalah sebanyak 22 siswa atau 66,7% tuntas, sedangkan 11 siswa atau 33,3% siswa tidak tuntas dan hasil siklus II adalah sebanyak 29 siswa atau 87,9% tuntas dan 4 siswa atau 12,1% tidak tuntas. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka penggunaan Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI) dalam pembelajaran materi Persamaan Garis Lurus dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI), Persamaan Garis Lurus. The technique used to analyze the data is a comparative descriptive technique and a critical analysis technique. The results of the first cycle were as many as 22 students or 66.7% completed, while 11 students or 33.3% students did not complete and the results of the second cycle were 29 students or 87.9% completed and 4 students or 12.1% incomplete.
