<![CDATA[This research aims to find out how the efforts made by teachers in overcoming difficulties in learning to read beginning in lower grade students at MI Bahrul Ulum Sekapuk Ujugpangkah Gresik. This study uses a qualitative research method with the type of case study research which in this study seeks to examine in depth according to the research focus that has been determined. The data collection used is observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this research are data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. To test the validity of the data in this study using source triagulation, extension of observations, and increasing persistence. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the teacher's efforts in overcoming the difficulties of learning to read beginning in lower grade students at MI Bahrul Ulum Sekapuk Ujungpangkah Gresik are the calistung program, providing additional assignments, learning outside the classroom, and providing motivation.]]>
