The purpose of this study is to know the increase in typing speed using typingmaster. This study was descriptive research supported by qualitative data andquantitative data. This type of this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR),a study that emphasizes on improving the quality of learning in the class. This studyused a cycle model that implement through four stages activities: planning, acting,observing, and reflecting. The results of these observations indicate that the valueof rapid typing in students were still red, students less active in following theongoing learning only a handful of students who were enthusiastic following theteacher's learning. This led to a lack of student understanding of the fast typingmaterial described by the teacher. Based on the result of evaluation test at cycle 2it can be seen that as many as 29 students have reached minimal criteria (MCM)with percentage 76,31% average of 76.33. And another 9 students with apercentage of 26.69% still have not reached MCM that has been determined. Thenumber of students who score above the MCM is more than 70% so it can be saidthe target researchers have achieved
