ABSTRAKPemeranan Tokoh Tuan Duran dalam Naskah Kematian yang Direncanakan karya August Strinberg terjemahan Joko Kurnain merupakan kerja kreatif pemeranan yang pemeran jalani untuk mewujudkan karakter tokoh Tuan Duran dari realitas naskah menjadi realitas teater. Proses perwujudan tokoh Tuan Duran tersebut bertitik tolak pada analisis penokohan. Tahapan kerja dari analisis penokohan tersebut dimulai pada analisis tokoh, kemudian relasi antar tokoh dan yang terakhir relasi tokoh dengan struktur naskah. Hasil dari analisa tokoh dan naskah, menjadi pijakan pemeran dalam proses perwujudan tokoh. Proses perwujudan tokoh tersebut berpedoman pada metode akting Stanislavsky.Kata Kunci:Pemeranan; Kematian yang Direncanakan; Tuan Duran; Stanislavsky.  ABSTRACTThe role of Tuan Duran in the Planned Death Manuscript by August Strinberg, translated by Joko Kurnain, is a creative work of acting that the actors undertake to realize the character of Tuan Duran from the reality of the script into a theatrical reality. The process of realizing the character of Tuan Duran is based on the analysis of characterizations. The work stages of the characterization analysis begin with character analysis, then the relationship between characters and finally the character's relationship with the structure of the script. The results of the analysis of the characters and the script, become the basis for the actors in the process of realizing the characters.
