Abstract

Kata kunci: Motilitas, CASA, spermatozoa, sapi.ABSTRACTThe aims of this research were to determine 18 parameters spermatozoamotility using CASA method and to determine spermatozoa progressive motility usingvisual assessment and CASA. The material of this research were bull fresh semenfrom 6 breeds, there were Limmousin, Bali, Madura, Simmental, Brahman andOngole which owned by National Artificial Insemination Center Singosari. Data werecollected from CASA method of 18 parameters sperm motility and visual assessmentmethod of progressive sperm motility. Data were analyzed by variance and factoranalysis, and progressive motility using visual and CASA were analyzed by paired TTest. The result showed that motility and progressive motility using CASA was nosignificant different (P>0.05) for six breeds. There were no significant different(P>0.05) on hyperactive parameter using CASA, but on linear, non linear, curvelinear and cell detail parameter : DCL, DAP, DSL, VCL, VAP, VSL, LIN, STR,WOB, ALH, AOH were significant different (P<0.05) among breeds. Analysis usingpaired T-test of progressive motility assessment was no signifgicant different betweenCASA and visual microscopic (P>0.05).Key words : Motility, spermatozoa, CASA, breeds
