The social learning result in IVthB class of Elementary School 2 South Metro was not yet optimal. The purpose of this research was to increase the result of social studies by implementating mind mapping model with graphic media. The type of research was classroom action research. The instrument of the data collection used observation sheet and questions test. Technique of data analysis used qualitative and quantitative analysis. The result study of the affective in cycle I was (63,07%) to be (77,96%) in cycle II, psychomotor in cycle I was (64,43%) to be (80,23%) in cycle II, and cognitivie in cycle I was (63,64%) to be (81,81%) in cycle II. It can showed that the implementation of mind mapping model with graphic media can increase students learning result.Pembelajaran IPS di kelas IVB SDN 2 Metro Selatan belum optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS melalui penerapan model mind mapping dengan media grafis. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, hasil belajar afektif siswa siklus I (63,07%) menjadi (77,96%) di siklus II, psikomotor siswa siklus I (64,43%) menjadi (80,23%) pada siklus II, dan kognitif siswa siklus I (63,64%) menjadi (81,81%) pada siklus II.
