Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS di kelas V SD Negeri 16 Tanjung Aur Kota Padang masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan  model Cooperative Learning Tipe Picture and Picture. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 16 Tanjung Aur Kota Padang. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan hasil belajar siswa meningkat. Kesimpulannya, model Cooperative Learning tipe Picture and Picture dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di kelas V SD Negeri 16 Tanjung Aur Kota Padang dalam pembelajaran IPS. Kata Kunci : Hasil Belajar; Pembelajaran IPS; PAP  ABSTRACTThe background of this research was students’ achievement in learning social science of 5th grade at SD Negeri 16 Tanjung Aur Padang was still low. The aim of this research was to improve student’s achievement in learning Social Science by using Cooperative Learning Picture and Picture model. The subject of this research was the teacher and the student of 5th grade at SD Negeri 16 Tanjung Aur Padang. The result of the research shows that there is an improvement in planning, implementing and students’ achievement. It can be conclude that Cooperative Learning Picture and Picture model can improve studens’ achievement in learning Social Science of 5th grade. Keywors: Learning Outcomes; Sosial Sciences; PAP
