PERAN ORANG TUA DALAM MENGATASI ANAK HIPERAKTIF MELALUI TERAPI BERMAIN MENYUSUN BALOK DAN PUZZLE

Abstract

This research aims to find out; 1) the steps of parents in dealing with hyperactive children through play therapy assembling blocks and puzzles, namely: parents preparing game tools, parents giving examples so that children can follow and focus, parents always supervise when children are playing assembling blocks and puzzles , parents are the place to ask when children start to lose focus during therapy assembling blocks and puzzles. 2) It is implied that play therapy is compiling blocks and puzzles on the development of hyperactive children, namely to train focus and control the level of aggressiveness of children and help control excessive activity so that children are calmer. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research findings indicate that in the implementation of therapy children can arrange blocks even though they are in abstract form. Children can complete puzzles very well until the pictures are arranged according to the example. The results of the study show that the effect of play therapy assembling blocks and puzzles can train focus and reduce hyperactivity in children. The child's cognitive development is getting better, the child's focus is increasing and there is a sense of responsibility in completing the tasks given during therapy. It can be seen from the children's success in completing puzzles and being able to produce various works of art from blocksPenelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui; 1) langkah – langkah orang tua dalam mengatasi anak hiperaktif melalui terapi bermain menyusun balok dan puzzle, yaitu: orang tua menyiapkan alat permainan, orang tua memberikan contoh agar anak dapat mengikuti dan fokus, orang tua selalu mengawasi ketika anak sedang bermain menyusun balok dan puzzle, orang tua menjadi tempat bertanya ketika anak mulai hilang fokus saat terapi menyusun balok dan puzzle. 2) implikasi terapi bermain menyusun balok dan puzzle terhadap perkembangan anak hiperaktif yaitu untuk melatih fokus dan mengendalikan tingkat agresivitas anak serta membantu mengendalikan aktivitas yang berlebihan agar anak lebih tenang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik analisis data diantaranya pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Adapun hasil temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pelaksanaan terapi anak dapat menyusun balok meskipun berbentuk abstrak. Anak dapat menyelesaikan puzzle  dengan sangat baik hingga tersusun gambar sesuai contoh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dampak terapi bermain menyusun balok dan puzzle dapat melatih fokus dan mengurangi hiperaktif pada anak. Perkembangan kognitif anak menjadi semakin baik, fokus anak meningkat serta adanya rasa tanggung jawab menyelesaikan tugas yang diberikan saat terapi. Dapat dilihat dari keberhasilan anak menyelesaikan puzzle serta mampu menghasilkan bermacam-macam hasil karya dari balok
