This study aims to examine and analyze empirically the effect of job ability, work involvement and work motivation on employee performance at the Regional Development Planning Board of Muna Regency. This research is explanatory which intends to explain the position of the variables studied and the relationship and influence between one variable and another variable.The results showed that: (1) Ability to work, work involvement and work motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Regional Development Planning Board of Muna Regency. (2) Job ability has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Regional Development Planning Board of Muna Regency. (3) Work involvement has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees at the Regional Development Planning Board of Muna Regency. (4) Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Regional Development Planning Board of Muna Regency.
